Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Platzpatrone für Feuerwaffen, mit einer Patronenhülse (5), deren Abmessungen mindestens im Bodenbereich denen der Patronenhülse einer gleichartigen scharfen Patrone entsprechen, einer Treibladung (6, 6') und einem im Lauf der Feuerwaffe zerlegbaren Geschoß (1). Erfindungsgemäß besteht das Gescnoß (1) aus einem Material, das nach der durch den Abschuß erfolgten Zündung selbsttätig noch innerhalb des Laufes vollständig abbrennt. Da keinerlei Splitter oder sonstiger Feststoff die Mündung einer die Platzpatrone verschiebenden Waffe verläßt, benötigt die erfindungsgemäße Platzpatrone keine Sicherheitszone vor der Mündung. Es erfolgt auch keine Kontaminierung des Übungsgeländes mit Geschoßsplittern. Dem Geschoß (1) kann verdampfendes oder verbrennendes Material zugesetzt werden, um einen Korrosionsschutz für die Lauf-Innenoberfläche zu erzeugen oder die Helligkeit o. dgl. des Mündungsfeuers zu beeinflussen.

The invention relates to a blank cartridge for firearms, with a cartridge case (5), the dimensions of which correspond at least in the base area to the cartridge case of a similarly sharp cartridge, a propellant charge (6, 6 ') and a projectile (1) which can be dismantled in the barrel of the firearm. Since no fragments or other solid leave the muzzle of a weapon moving the blank cartridge, the blank cartridge according to the invention does not require a safety zone in front of the muzzle. There is also no contamination of the practice area with floor fragments. Vaporizing or burning material can be added to the projectile (1) in order to provide corrosion protection for the inner surface of the barrel or to influence the brightness or the like of the muzzle flash.
