Claims (7)

  1. A positioning bar locking device (1) for the leaves (25, 26) of windows, doors, particularly for attaching to the hinge-joint sides (28) of turning and turn-tilt windows, doors or the like, comprising closing members (2) which in the mounted state are disposed on a window or door element, e.g. on the fixed frame or on a central leaf (26) and also comprising locking members (3, 7) which in the mounted state are disposed so as to be movable on the other window or door element, e.g. on the side leaf (25) and are adapted to be brought into or out of engagement with the closing members (2) as required, via an actuating mechanism,
    wherein the locking members (7) are in the form of eccentrically adjustable bolts (8, 9),
    wherein the bolts (7; 8, 9) are riveted or hammered (11, 12) into the positioning bar (5). so as to be difficultly rotatable, and
    wherein a U-section claw (3) having an opening (23) at least at one end can be set separately from and near each eccentric pin (7; 8, 9), each such claw being movable into and out of engagement with the closing members (2) in order to connect (11, 12) pivotally about a bearing axis (16) with the positioning bar (5), and
    can also be brought into plug-in engagement with the eccentric pin (7; 8, 9),
    characterised in that
    each claw (3) can be coupled to the associated eccentric bolt (7; 8, 9) via an engagement slot (24) separate from and close to the bearing axis (16), and the eccentric bolts (7; 8, 9) are in the form of locking bolts known per se so that each respective eccentric bolt (7; 8, 9), which normally co-operates directly with an associated closing member, can at any time be subsequently coupled to the U-shaped claw.

A positioning bar locking device (1) for the leaves (25, 26) of windows, doors, particularly for attaching to the hinge-joint sides (28) of turning and turn-tilt windows, doors or the like, comprising closing members (2) which in the mounted state are disposed on a window or door element, e.g. on the fixed frame or on a central leaf (26) and also comprising locking members (3, 7) which in the mounted state are disposed so as to be movable on the other window or door element, e.g. on the side leaf (25) and are adapted to be brought into or out of engagement with the closing members (2) as required, via an actuating mechanism,
    wherein the locking members (7) are in the form of eccentrically adjustable bolts (8, 9),
    wherein the bolts (7; 8, 9) are riveted or hammered (11, 12) into the positioning bar (5) so as to be difficultly rotatable, and
    wherein a U-section claw (3) having an opening (23) at least at one end can be set separately from and near each eccentric pin (7; 8, 9), each such claw being movable into and out of engagement with the closing members (2) in order to connect (11, 12) pivotally about a bearing axis (16) with the positioning bar (5), and
    can also be brought into plug-in engagement with the eccentric pin (7; 8, 9),
    characterised in that each claw (3) is L-shaped in cross-section and can be coupled to the associated eccentric bolt (7; 8, 9) via an engagement slot (24) separate from and near the bearing axis (16), and and the eccentric bolts (7; 8, 9) are in the form of locking bolts known per se so that each respective eccentric bolt (7; 8, 9), which normally co-operates directly with an associated closing member, can at any time be subsequently coupled to the L-shaped claw.

A positioning bar locking device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the bearing axis (16) is associated with the end of the claw (3) remote from the opening end (23) and is in the form of a screw (17), particularly a Parker screw, for screwing into a hole (19) in the positioning bar (5).
  4. A positioning bar locking device according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the claw (3) at the back bears a supporting attachment (21) extending parallel to the bearing axis (16) and situated in the neighbourhood thereof and engaging in a matching opening (22) in the positioning bar (5).
  5. A positioning bar locking device according to any of claims 1 to 4, wherein the closing members (2) comprise closing cams, characterised in that the closing cams (2) taper conically away from their fixing base (32) and the inner surfaces (30) of the L or U-shaped locking claw (3) have a slope adapted to the said conicity.
  6. A positioning bar locking device according to claim 5, characterised in that the closing cam (2) has a fixing base (32) in the form of a pin attachment (33) which extends parallel to the cone axis (34) and is insertable into a hole (39) drilled in the window or door element, e.g. into the fixed frame.
  7. A positioning bar locking device according to claim 5 or 6, characterised in that the closing cam (2) has a passage bore (37) in line with the longitudinal axis (35) of its pin attachment (33) for receiving a fixing screw (38).
