Claims (4)

  1. Verbesserte Vorrichtung zum fortlaufenden Identifizieren und Wiegen eines Pakets (1), dessen Etikett (5) eine Anordnung aus einem Strichcode (6) aufweist, mit:
    einer Nacheinanderfolge von zumindest drei mittels Antrieben (14, 28, 74) gesteuerten Endlos-Fördervorrichtungen (10, 20, 70), und zwar:
    einer ersten in Bewegung versetzten Fördervorrichtung (10), auf der die zu identifizierenden und zu wiegenden Pakete abgelegt werden,
    einer zweiten Fördervorrichtung (20), die dem Tisch einer Waage (30) zugeordnet ist, die in der Lage ist, das Gewicht des auf der zweiten Fördervorrichtung (20) liegenden Pakets zu messen,
    einer dritten Fördervorrichtung (70) zum Ausfördern des identifizierten und gewogenen Pakets,
    einem Lesekopf (40) für den Strichcode, der oberhalb des Ausgangsbereichs (13) der ersten Fördervorrichtung (10) und des Eingangsbereichs (24) der zweiten Fördervorrichtung (20) angeordnet ist, wobei der Lesekopf (40) die auf dem Etikett (5) gelesenen Informationen an eine elektronische Datenverarbeitungs- und Steuereinheit (44) übermittelt, die auch mit der Waage (30) verbunden ist;
    einer Mehrzahl von Zellen (60-67, 80), die in der Lage sind, die Anwesenheit oder den Durchgang des zu identifizierenden Pakets zu detektieren, und die an die Datenverarbeitungs- und Steuereinheit (44) angeschlossen sind,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die Vorrichtung in der Umgebung des Zwischenraumes (I) zwischen der ersten Fördervorrichtung (10) und der zweiten Fördervorrichtung (20) aufweist:
    eine erste Anordnung von in einer zur Vorwärtsbewegungsebene des Pakets parallelen Ebene angeordneten Zellen (60, 61, 62), die in der Lage ist, die Breite und die Länge des Pakets zu bestimmen und den Lauf der ersten Fördervorrichtung (10) anzuhalten, wenn das Paket den aus der Anordnung der Zellen (60, 61, 62) austretenden Strahl gerade durchquert hat, derart, daß jeweils nur ein einziges Paket auf der zweiten Fördervorrichtung (20) vorhanden ist,
    eine zweite, zur ersten orthogonal angeordneten Anordnung (65, 66, 67), die in der Lage ist, die Höhe des Pakets zu bestimmen,
    und die die gesamten Informationen an die Datenverarbeitungseinheit (44) übermitteln;
    daß der Tisch der Waage (30) das Gewicht des Pakets (1), das sich auf der zweiten Fördervorrichtung (20) vorwärtsbewegt, fliegend mißt und diese Informationen an die Datenverarbeitungseinheit (44) übermittelt; und
    daß die zweite Fördervorrichtung (20) und die dritte Fördervorrichtung (70) permanent und synchron angetrieben sind.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die zweite Anordnung, die in der Lage ist, die Höhe des Pakets zu bestimmen, eine Zelle (65) umfaßt, die parallel mit den Zellen (60, 61, 62) angeordnet und dazu bestimmt ist, den Lauf der Fördervorrichtung (10) anzuhalten, wenn das Paket (1) den Strahl der Zellen gerade durchquert hat.
  3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Ausgang (73) der dritten Fördervorrichtung (70) eine Zelle (80) aufweist, deren Strahl parallel zur Ebene (71) der dritten Fördervorrichtung (70) verläuft, und die dazu bestimmt ist, Stauungen am Ausgang (73) der dritten Fördervorrichtung (70) zu detektieren und diese Informationen an die Datenverarbeitungseinheit (44) zu liefern, um den Steuerbefehl für das Anhalten der ausgangsseitigen Fördervorrichtung (20) zu geben.
  4. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Datenverarbeitungseinheit (44) den Steuerbefehl für das Anhalten der Vorrichtung gibt, wenn das Etikett unzureichend gelesen worden ist oder wenn das Gewicht des Pakets unzureichend bestimmt worden ist.
