Abstract

The invention relates to a cooled ceiling for cooling room air with heat-conducting rails, which are suspended on a bare ceiling and flowed through by cooling water, and ceiling elements which bear against the underside of the heat-conducting rails on a connection flange and are held thereon with clamping elements. In order to improve a cooled ceiling in such a manner that, even without observing extreme manufacturing tolerances, simple fastening of the ceiling elements on the heat-conducting rail and good heat transmission between ceiling elements and heat-conducting rails are guaranteed, the connection flange is to have a recess for a clamping element which can be inserted into it and is connected to the ceiling element. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a cooling ceiling for room air cooling with suspended from a raw ceiling, flowed through by cooling water heat guide rails and underside of the heat guide rails on a connecting flange and held there with clamping elements ceiling elements.

Such cooling ceilings are used in rooms with high thermal loads and with high comfort requirements. They dissipate heat by absorbing the radiation from heat sources or from heated room surfaces and by free convection via the heated room air.

In a known cooling ceiling of the type described in the introduction (DE-GM 91 02 260), the ceiling elements can be equipped, inter alia, with clamping tongues which have latching elements, the clamping tongues being pushed over the outer sides of the connecting flange, which are also provided with latching elements. This has proven itself in itself, but requires compliance with precise manufacturing tolerances.

The object of the invention is a cooling ceiling of the beginning to improve the type described so that even without adhering to extreme manufacturing tolerances, simple attachment of the ceiling elements to the heat conducting rail and good heat transfer between ceiling elements and heat conducting rails are ensured.

This object is achieved in that the connecting flange has a recess for a clamping element which can be inserted therein and is connected to the ceiling element. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, one or more clips with resilient legs can be arranged in the recess, the clamping element being insertable between the resilient legs. This enables simple installation and also ensures the desired heat transfer between the connecting flange of the heat conducting rail and the ceiling element lying against it.

A particularly advantageous embodiment is one in which the clamping element has a widened head and the legs have curvatures behind this head. Then the ceiling element can be mounted with the widened head of its clamping element under slight pressure, the widened head being pressed between the resilient legs of the clip or clips, the bulges behind the head supporting the insertion movement of the head until the ceiling element bears against the connecting flange . The head of the clamping element can have outside bevels.

The clip or clips are expediently supported in inner grooves of the recess parallel to the heat conducting rail. In a practical version, the clamping element glued to the ceiling element with one foot.

A chilled ceiling usually consists of several ceiling elements, which are held on assigned heat conducting rails. The heat conducting rails are in turn attached to a support suspended from the bare ceiling. In order to enable a uniform alignment of the ceiling elements, a further proposal of the invention is to connect the heat conducting rail to a fastening web of a carrier with a screw connection, the screw extending through an oversized hole in the fastening web and the fastening web using the screw on both sides between adjusting elements Ball socket and ball washer is clamped. This makes it possible to orient the heat-conducting rail in the room in such a way that its assigned ceiling element is aligned with adjacent ceiling elements. To connect the screw, the heat conducting rail can have a groove for the screw head on the outside. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the groove is arranged on the side of the heat conducting rail.

In the following an embodiment of the invention shown in the drawing is explained; the single figure shows schematically and partially a section through a cooling ceiling.

A number of beams 2, of which only one is shown, are laid below a raw ceiling (not shown) of a room. The carrier 2 is covered by bracket legs of a bracket 6 attached to the bracket 2. On the U-web of the bracket 6, a support bracket 31 is fastened with a screw connection 30, on its free leg 32 by means of a Screw 10 is attached to a thermal conductor rail 13. The heat conducting rail 13 has a cooling water channel 16 lined with a copper pipe 15, which is connected to the water circuit of a water cooling system in a manner not shown.

On the underside, the heat-conducting rail 13 has a connecting flange 17 which extends on both sides of the heat-conducting rail 13. This connecting flange 17 serves as an abutment and for fastening a ceiling element 18 and also for heat transfer from the ceiling element 18 to the heat conducting rail 13.

The ceiling element 18 in the embodiment shown consists of a material with good thermal conductivity, e.g. Aluminum. It extends along the heat conducting rail 13 and has a width of approximately 200 mm. About half the width of the ceiling element 18 is releasably attached to the connecting flange 17.

For this purpose, the connecting flange 17 has a recess 33 below the heat conducting rail 13, which extends along the heat conducting rail 13 in the embodiment shown. The recess 33 has inner grooves 34, on which one or more clips 35 are supported with resilient legs 36, 37.

The widened head 38 of a clamping element 39 can be inserted between the two resilient legs 36, 37 and is glued to the ceiling element 18 with its foot 40. The head 38 has outside bevels. The resilient legs 36 have the inserted Head 38 behind bulges 42, which support the insertion movement of the head 38, so that the ceiling element 18 is pulled against the connecting flange 17. The ceiling element 18 can also be easily detached from the heat conducting rail 13.

To align the ceiling element 18 with adjacent ceiling elements, the orientation of the heat conducting rail 13 in the room can be changed. This takes place with the aid of the screw 10, the profile head 11 of which is held in an undercut groove 12 arranged laterally on the heat rail 13. The screw 10 extends through an oversized hole 43 in the leg 32 of the support bracket 31. On both sides of the leg 32 and the screw 10 comprehensive adjustment elements are provided, each consisting of a ball socket 44 and a cooperating spherical washer 45. After aligning the ceiling element 18 with the associated heat rail 13, the leg 32 of the support bracket 31 is clamped between these adjustment elements by screwing a nut 46 onto the screw 10.
