Claims (10)

  1.   2. Battant orientable selon la revendication 1,
       caractérisé en ce que les portions de la charnière (4, 5) définissant l'axe de pivotement (12 ; 52) présentent, en position de fermeture respectivement de pivotement du battant, une distance (65) de la face extérieure côté pièce de la traverse dormante (1) qui correspond au moins à l'épaisseur respectivement l'épaisseur restante du renversement (6) à l'endroit de l'évidement (23) respectivement à l'endroit de la discontinuité (8) du joint.

       caractérisé en ce que pour la charnière d'angle inférieure (5), la portion de la charnière (51) côté traverse dormante définissant l'axe de pivotement (52) est librement soutenue, au moyen d'une portion (55) s'étendant le long du chapeau horizontal de la traverse dormante (1), par une butée (54) vissée sur ledit chapeau en ménageant l'axe de basculement (54a) et maintenue et guidée sur la butée (54) en vue de l'exécution de mouvements basculants limités.
  8. Battant orientable selon la revendication 7,
       caractérisé en ce que la butée (54) comprend un dispositif d'ajustage (60) pour régler le décalage de la portion (55) soutenue par la butée.
  9. Procédé pour basculer et pivoter un battant (2) avec renversement (22) sur / dans une traverse dormante (1), dans lequel
    l'axe de basculement (54a, 33) du battant (2) est orienté de façon orthogonale par rapport à l'axe de pivotement ou de rotation (12, 52) et, en aucun moment des mouvements et positions correspondant au fonctionnement du battant (2), les deux axes (54a, 33 ; 12, 52) n'ont un point d'intersection ;
