Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method and a device for automatically changing roving bobbins on a ring spinning machine by means of a movable maintenance carriage, in which a new, full roving bobbin is removed from a transport device and transferred to a gate, and in which an old, almost empty roving bobbin is removed from the gate and is transferred to the transport device, and for automatically connecting the beginning of the new roving spool with the roving running off the old roving spool.
  • the new roving spool is then removed from the transport device and transferred to the creel.
  • the empty roving bobbin is then placed on the transport device.
  • This is a relatively cumbersome process, for which relatively complex means have to be provided.
  • there is a further effort since the known design is only able to change the bobbin on the outer row of the gate of a ring spinning machine.
  • the creel requires a special design with a further drive through which the roving bobbins of the two rows are interchangeable, so that the rear row of roving bobbins then becomes the front row and can also be changed.
  • the invention has for its object to simplify a method of the type mentioned in such a way that the movement sequences become easier and that simpler means can then be used to carry out the method.
  • This object is achieved by first removing the new roving spool from the transport device and temporarily storing it in the maintenance car, then removing the old roving spool without interrupting the running in of the roving, removing it from the gate and transferring it to the transport device, after which the new roving spool is removed from the maintenance car is removed and inserted into the creel, the beginning of the roving of the new roving spool being connected to the roving of the old roving spool, after which the roving of the old roving spool is separated.
  • the beginning of the roving of the new roving spool is searched for and ready while this roving spool is in the intermediate position in the maintenance carriage. This search can then be carried out while the gripping elements carry out other work, namely the removal of the old roving bobbin and the transfer of these roving bobbins to the transport device.
  • the beginning of the roving of the new roving bobbins is connected to the roving of the old roving bobbin while the new roving bobbin is being transferred from the maintenance carriage to the creel.
  • the old or the new roving spool is driven to rotate when they are moved from one position to another while roving is running off them. This measure ensures that, on the one hand, during these movements, in which the distance to a guide or to the drafting device increases, the roving is not torn. On the other hand, care is taken to ensure that during a movement in which the distance of the roving bobbin to a guide or to the drafting device is reduced, no loops are formed which could get caught on another machine part.
  • this roving bobbin already delivered to the transport device is driven to rotate in order to wind up the remaining roving. This ensures that this roving does not fall off and leads to malfunctions.
  • the gate (14) is with hangers for roving bobbins (15, 15 ') provided which are arranged in a front and a rear row.
  • the drafting units have pressure roller twins carried in load arms, so that the drafting units (10) formed by these pressure roller twins each have a roving spool (15) in the rear row and a roving spool (15 ') front row are assigned.
  • a rail (30) is attached to the gate (14), on which a monorail (13) can be moved.
  • the overhead conveyor (13) contains suspension holders (31) which correspond to the suspension holders (31) of the gate (14) and are attached to the new, full roving bobbins (12) which have been fed to the ring spinning machine on this suspension conveyor (13).
  • the full roving bobbins (12) are kept at a predetermined distance, which corresponds to the distance between the roving bobbins (15, 15 ') of a row, ready for a roving bobbin change.
  • the roving bobbin change is carried out by means of a maintenance carriage (11) which can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the ring spinning machine.
  • the maintenance carriage (11) is designed so that it can carry out the simultaneous change of several roving bobbins (12, 15, 15 ') simultaneously, i.e. for a group of four or six roving bobbins (15, 15 ') in a row.
  • roving bobbins (12, 15, 15 ') i.e. for a group of four or six roving bobbins (15, 15 ') in a row.
  • the maintenance car (11) is called when the roving bobbins (15 or 15 ') of a roving bobbin row are so far empty that a bobbin change is required. In the exemplary embodiment, this is the case for the rear row of roving bobbins (15).
  • the maintenance device (11) then stops in the position shown in FIG. 1.
  • the maintenance device (11) contains a plurality of peg-like gripping elements (18) which are arranged on a beam-like holding device (19).
  • the holding device (19) contains a rotary drive with which the pin-like gripping elements (18) can be rotated about their vertical axis in both directions of rotation. For example, a belt drive or a toothed belt drive or a chain drive or the like.
  • the holding device (19) is seated on a frame (32) which can be pivoted about a horizontal axis (33) running in the longitudinal direction of the ring spinning machine.
  • the frame (32) is movable in the maintenance device (11) in the vertical direction and at the same time can be pivoted about its horizontal axis (33), so that the holding device (19) with the gripping elements (18) executes a superimposed lifting and pivoting movement which the contour of the ring spinning machine and also the given space is adapted.
  • the peg-like gripping elements of the roving bobbins (12) of the transport device (13) and the roving bobbins (15 and 15 ') of the two rows of the gate (14) can be delivered.
  • the frame (32) with the gripping elements (18) can be pivoted outwards to such an extent that they are located under a temporary storage device (17) and roving bobbins (12) suspended therein can be delivered.
  • the pivoting movement of the frame (32), which it can carry out is limited to the area vertically below the roving bobbins (12) of the monorail (13).
  • the intermediate storage device is designed to be horizontally movable, so that it can be moved via the gripping elements (18) located in this position, as will be explained later.
  • the pin-like gripping elements (18) are then moved upwards (FIG. 2), so that they hang the full roving bobbins (12) from the monorail (13) and take them into the maintenance trolley (11).
  • the roving bobbins (12) are moved down so far that the intermediate storage device (17) can be brought over them by a horizontal adjustment movement (FIG. 3).
  • the intermediate storage device (17) is provided with hanging brackets onto which the new roving bobbins (12) are placed for intermediate storage.
  • the peg-like gripping elements (18) are lowered again and then subsequently moved into the gate (14) and delivered to the roving bobbins (15) which are almost empty and have to be replaced (FIG. 4).
  • the pin-like gripping elements (18) take the roving bobbins (15) (FIG. 5) that are almost empty and remove them from the creel (FIG. 6) and transport them to the monorail (13), on the hanging holder of which the roving bobbins which are almost empty ( 15) can be attached.
  • the pin-like gripping elements (18) are driven (arrow in FIG.
  • a suction nozzle is delivered.
  • the roving start is thus held ready in such a way that it can be picked up in front of the roving grippers (16) when the pin-like gripping elements of the roving spool (12) are returned (Figs. 9 and 10).
  • the pin-like gripping elements (18) then remove the new roving bobbin from the intermediate storage device (17), which then moves back to its starting position.
  • the pin-like gripping elements (18) with the roving bobbins are then moved in the direction of the creel.
  • the roving grippers (16) are pivoted about a horizontal axis (13) in such a way that they are fed to the drafting system (10) with their clamping element that holds the roving beginning (FIG. 11).
  • the clamping elements of the roving grippers (16) open so that the roving start held by them can run into the drafting devices (10).
  • opening the clamps of the roving gripper (16) also causes the old roving to be separated, which still runs from the old roving spool (15).
  • a drive device (20) which also contains a thread guide (26), is delivered to this roving spool (15), which is located in the overhead conveyor (13), by means of which the roving spools (15) are driven in the winding direction (FIG. 11) .
  • the roving that was cut off in the area of the drafting units (10) is thus still wound onto the roving bobbins (15) before they are transported away from the monorail.
  • the clamps of the roving grippers (16) move into a further position in which they form a guide eye for the roving running off the roving bobbins (12).
  • the roving bobbins (12) are then fed from the pin-like gripping elements (18) to the hanging brackets (31) of the gate (14).
  • the roving grippers (16) perform controlled swiveling movements about their axis (23), see above that the roving in roving guides (27, 28) of the gate (14) is threaded (Fig. 12).
  • a roving gripper (16) is shown in its basic structure.
  • the roving gripper (16) is arranged on a horizontal axis (23) which is mounted in bearing arms (40) of the holding device (19) and which can be pivoted via an electric motor (not shown).
  • the roving gripper (16) is divided into two parts (42 and 43) via a rotary bearing (41).
  • the part (42) can be rotated relative to the part (43) about the longitudinal axis (24) of the roving gripper (16) by means of a drive motor (44). The purpose of this twisting will be explained later with reference to FIGS. 19 and 20.
  • a bracket (45) is attached in a stationary manner, the transversely projecting arm of which is provided with an elastic covering.
  • a clamping lever (47) is attached to the part (42) so as to be pivotable about an axis (46) and is driven by a lifting rod (48) which in turn can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the axis (24) by a motor and drive elements (not shown).
  • Fig. 16 shows the roving hook (16) in the open position of the thread clamp (22), ie in the position in which it the roving beginning held in the maintenance wedge (11) is delivered (Fig. 9). Then the thread clamp (22) is closed (Fig. 10). The closed position of the clamp is shown in Fig. 17.
  • the clamping lever (47) has been pivoted about the axis (46) so that it rests on the elastic covering of the stationary arm (45). In this clamping position, the roving gripper (16) is then moved further and delivered to the drafting system (10) (FIG. 11). In this position, the thread clamp (22) then opens by pivoting the clamping lever (47) back into the position shown in FIG. 16.
  • the back of the clamping lever (47) lies against an elastic covering of a projection (50) which projects in the longitudinal direction, the roving of the roving spool (15) which has almost run empty and is already suspended in the transport device (13), being separated. If necessary, the back of the clamping lever (47) can be designed as a cutting edge.
  • the clamping lever (47) is moved back into an intermediate position (Fig. 18). In this intermediate position, he pictures with an extension (51) projecting from the arm (45), which is expediently provided on both sides of the clamping lever (47), an eyelet (52) in which the roving running off the new roving spool (12) is guided will (Fig. 12, 13).
  • the thread clamp (22) is fully opened again, ie brought into its position according to FIG. 16, so that the gripping elements (18) and the roving gripper (16) can move back to the starting position (Fig. 14 and 15).
  • the (closed) thread clamp protrudes laterally like a beak from the roving hook (16), the thread clamp (22) lying in the axis (24) while the body (42) the roving gripper (16) itself is set back somewhat. Because of this design and because it can be rotated about the longitudinal axis (24), it is possible to feed the same roving grippers (16) from the right and from the left to the drafting systems.
  • the drafting systems (10) are formed by lower cylinders and top rollers running in the longitudinal direction of the machine, two of which are combined to form pressure roller twins (57, 58, 59) (FIGS. 19 and 20), each of which is held by a supporting and loading arm (55).
  • a supporting and loading arm (55) As indicated in Fig. 19 with dash-dotted circles (15, 15 '), one side of the pressure roller twins a roving spool (15') is assigned to the front row and a roving spool (15) to the rear row.
  • the roving grippers (16) four of which can be seen, are fed to the right pressure rollers in the drawing with respect to the loading arm (55).
  • the laterally beak-like thread clamps (22) of the roving grippers (16) extend into the area of an inlet funnel (56) upstream of each drafting system (10).
  • 19 and 20 can be seen from Fig.,
  • the thread guides (27, 27 ') of the gate and the thread guides (28, 29) are hook-shaped, so that the thread clamp (22) the roving into it from one side can insert.
  • the thread guides are each bent in the area adjoining the U-shaped guide eyelet from the open side, so that the roving clamp (22) can be passed in this area without hindrance.
  • the roving grippers are rotated by 180 ° (Fig. 20), they can be fed to the drafting systems (10) from the left side, i.e. they are then suitable for changing the roving of the front bobbin row.
  • the roving grippers are inserted into thread guides (27 ') arranged in mirror image to the thread guides (27). The same applies to the thread guides (28 and 29).
