Description

The invention relates to a link bracelet, in particular for wristwatches, with articulated individual links, with a first single link on its one side facing an adjacent second single link, a lugs formed by mutually parallel, longitudinal directions of the band, towards the adjacent second single link has an open guide shaft, between the two side walls extending in the longitudinal direction of the belt, a guide part of the adjacent second individual member projecting into the guide shaft and resting on its two side walls is pivotably guided about a pivot axis extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the belt and passing through in the region of the guide shaft through holes in the adjacent individual links is passed, wherein a sleeve is arranged in the through hole of the guide member, the outer diameter of which is larger than the diameter r of the holes formed in the approaches.

In such known link bracelets there is the problem that either the pivot axes are fixed and so disassembly of the individual links is not possible or that the pivot axes can be moved against springs in a position in which the adjacent individual links are detachable from each other.

From US-A-38 37 163 a link bracelet of the type mentioned is known. Plastic sleeves are firmly inserted in both the holes in the lugs and in the hole in the guide part. The pivot axis extends through the sleeve bore of the guide part with radial play while it is held in the bores of the lugs with an interference fit.

Mit ihren Endbereichen sind die Schwenkachsen mit Preßpassung in den Ausnehmungen der seitlich äußeren Einzelglieder eingesetzt, während der die mittleren Einzelglieder durchragende Bereich der Schwenkachsen locker von einer Hülse umschlossen ist, die wiederum mit Spiel die Ausnehmungen der mittleren Einzelglieder durchragt.US-A-40 89 161 shows a link bracelet with a plurality of mutually parallel rows of individual links which are offset by approximately half the length and are articulated to one another via pivot axes extending transversely to the longitudinal extension of the band. The pivot axes each project through recesses formed in the end regions of the individual links. With their end regions, the swivel axes are press-fitted in the recesses of the laterally outer individual links, while the area of the swivel axes projecting through the middle individual links is loosely enclosed by a sleeve, which in turn projects through the recesses of the middle single links with play.

Furthermore, a link bracelet is known from EP-A-0 229 908, which consists of side-by-side band links offset from one another in the longitudinal direction of the band, through which holes pass transversely to the longitudinal direction of the band, in which continuous pivot axes are arranged. The pivot axes are designed as sleeves, the ends of which have locking cams projecting radially outwards and project into corresponding recesses in the outer band members.

To prevent the areas of the locking cams from springing radially inwards, locking pins are inserted into the bores of the swivel axes.

The object of the invention is to provide a link bracelet of the type mentioned at the outset, which is easy to assemble and disassemble and has a low-wear structure requiring few simple components.

This object is achieved in that the sleeve surrounds the pivot axis with friction or friction on the pivot axis and is arranged with radial play in the through bore of the guide member. For assembly, a sleeve is inserted into the through bore of the guide part of a second individual element and this individual element is inserted with the guide element into the guide shaft of a first individual element. Now a pivot axis is pushed through the through bores of the lugs and the guide part, whereby it is also passed through the bore of the sleeve. After the swivel axis has been inserted, the sleeve is held on the swivel axis by friction or force flow and forms stops with its free ends, which abut the side walls of the guide shaft and thus prevent the swivel axis from moving automatically out of its installed position.

For disassembly, the swivel axis only needs to be pushed out of the through bores and the sleeve by means of a mandrel, the holding force of the sleeve on the swivel axis being overcome by the pushing force.

Both assembly and disassembly can be carried out easily by hand, but also in a simple manner in one device. This enables automated belt assembly and disassembly.

Since the components are not damaged during assembly or disassembly, they can be used again and again.

Due to the fact that the sleeve is arranged with radial play in the through bore of the guide part, there is friction between the cylindrical wall of the through bore of the guide part and the cylindrical outer surface of the sleeve when two individual members are pivoted relative to one another. Since these two surfaces are relatively large due to the large diameter and the long length, the surface pressure between these surfaces and thus the wear are very low. In this way, the susceptibility to defects of the belt is kept low.

In addition, this design enables the sleeves to expand freely when the pivot axis is inserted.

If the length of the sleeve corresponds approximately to the width of the guide portion, pivot axes with a length corresponding to the width of the individual links can be used without the pivot links projecting laterally from the individual links.

In a particularly simple embodiment, the sleeve is a spring pin-like, longitudinally slit tube cylinder which can be arranged on the pivot axis with a radially inward spring tension. This makes it possible to use components of simple construction and easy to manufacture, which enable inexpensive construction.

If the swivel axis is mounted with a sliding fit in the through holes in the lugs, a relatively easy insertion of the swivel axis is possible. But since this usually has minor axis deviations and is thus jammed to a small extent in its bore in its installed position, When two individual links are pivoted, there is no rotation of the pivot axis in the through bores of the lugs and thus there is no wear. A relative rotation takes place only between the sleeve and the through bore of the guide part.

For easier insertion of the pivot axis into the bore of the sleeve, the pivot axis can be connected to a chamfer at its free ends.

If the swivel axis has a smaller diameter in its area arranged in the through bore of the guide part than in the areas arranged in the through holes in the lugs, the sleeve engages when the swivel axis is inserted when the correct installation position is reached.

The pivot axis can consist of two partial axes, each of which protrudes through a through bore of the attachment and part of the through bore of the guide part.

If the individual links are made of titanium and the sleeve and / or the swivel axis are made of silver or if these are silver-plated on their surface, there is only little wear on the link bracelet and thus less susceptibility to defects.

In the figures, a link bracelet consisting of three individual links 1 is shown. The single links 1 have, on their one side facing the adjacent single link 1, a guide shaft 2 which is open towards this single link 1 and is formed by two mutually parallel lugs 3 directed in the longitudinal direction of the link bracelet.

Between the two side walls 4 of the guide shaft 2, which extend in the longitudinal direction of the band, a guide part 5 protrudes into the latter, which is formed on the adjacent individual member 1 so as to protrude from it.

In the area of the guide shaft 2, transverse to the longitudinal direction of the band coaxially through the lugs 3 and the guide shaft 2 through holes 6 and 7. The bore 7 of the guide lug has a significantly larger diameter than the holes 6.

Arranged in the bore 7 is a sleeve 8 designed as a dowel-type tubular cylinder with a longitudinal slot 11, the length of which corresponds approximately to the width of the guide part 5 and which has radial play in the bore 7. The outer diameter of the sleeve 8 is larger than the diameter of the bore 6, so that the sleeve 8 is in contact with its end faces on the side walls 4.

Through the bores 6 and the bore of the sleeve 8, bolt-shaped pivot axes 9 are passed, the length of which corresponds approximately to the width of the individual links 1. In its area located in the bore 8, the pivot axis 9 has a slightly smaller diameter than in its area located in the holes 6. In this area of smaller diameter, the sleeve 8 surrounds the pivot axis 9 with a radially inward spring tension and is thus held non-positively on the pivot axis 9.

In order to enable easy insertion of the pivot axis 9 into the sleeve 8, the pivot axis 9 has a chamfer 10 in its free ends.

As can be seen in FIG. 2, the individual members 1 have rectangular face plates 12 covering the guide shafts 2 and guide parts 5 on their upper side.
