Definitions

  • the invention is based on a folder mechanism for easily replaceable documents or the like, with a base plate that can be riveted to a folder back and has two opposing bearing blocks, on which two side parts provided with curved alignment pins are pivotally mounted about a common axis , and with a lever extending parallel to the axis, which is automatically held by spring action in a locking position holding the side parts in the closed position, and which can be pivoted by hand into an opening position releasing the side parts.
  • a folder mechanism of the type mentioned at the beginning known as a line arrangement for letter folders, is known. It consists of a base plate that can be fastened to the spine of the folder with two bearing blocks for two wing plates that can be locked together and can also be pivoted to a limited extent in the locked position, as carriers of mutually opposed curved alignment pins.
  • this device for the articulated connection of the two wing plates on the perpendicular to these cheeks with the bearing axis aligned bores and engaging pins are provided which serve the two interconnected wing plates for storage in the bearing blocks of a base plate made of elastic material.
  • both wing plates are provided between the side cheeks of the two wing plates, locking elements are provided on both wing plates, which interact with a locking lever mounted in a wing plate.
  • Both the wing plates and the locking lever are made of plastic.
  • the Wing plates each carry two alignment pins, which, according to the drawing, show that they are bluntly embedded at one end into the plastic wing plate.
  • a file mechanism consisting of metal parts is known.
  • the arc-shaped alignment pins of one side part are connected to one another in one piece and angled at right angles from the respectively connecting part.
  • the device is designed as a four-hole mechanism, in which the alignment pins have a circular cross section.
  • a pair of the alignment pins is firmly connected to the intermediate part 7 or 6, which connects two pins 8, 8 or 5.5, to side parts 1 or 4 made of sheet metal, each with a plurality of rivets.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a file mechanism of the type mentioned in such a way that it can be assembled from inexpensive plastic parts that are easy to assemble and that enables simple positioning and reliable anchoring of the metallic alignment pins in the plastic side parts.
  • the two arch-shaped alignment pins of one side part are connected to one another in one piece and angled at right angles from the respectively connecting part.
  • the side parts have holes at a distance from the arch-shaped alignment pins, through which holes the alignment pins are passed from the rear of the side parts.
  • the connecting part of the alignment pins can be glued, welded or clamped into this groove.
  • Each side part is expediently provided with four holes for the passage of alignment pins.
  • the holes are spaced from one another and have a cross section that makes it possible to equip each side part with alignment pins for a two-hole mechanism or else for a four-hole mechanism.
  • the bearing block of the lever is arranged on a U-shaped rocker which is pivotably mounted about the common pivot axis of the side parts.
  • the rocker and the bearing block formed thereon and the lever mounted therein can be made of plastic.
  • the lever is made of plastic and on the lever a return spring is formed which is supported against an abutment and which holds the lever in a blocking position holding the side parts in the closed position.
  • the folder mechanism is composed of a base plate 1 with bearing blocks 2 and 3, the side parts 4 and 5, which are mounted together on the bearing blocks 2 and 3 so as to be pivotable about the axis 8, and which curved alignment pins 6, 6 ', 7.7', on which perforated sheets can be lined up.
  • 1 and 2 show the folder mechanism with the side parts 4 and 5 in the open position. In this open position of the side parts 4 and 5, the tips of the curved alignment pins 6, 7 and 6 ', 7' are at a distance from one another, so that with two Perforated sheets can be lined up on these alignment pins 6,6 ', 7,7' or can be removed from these alignment pins.
  • the lever 9 In the closed position, not shown, the tips of the respective cooperating alignment pins 6, 7 and 6 ', 7' overlap, so that the sheets are held captive.
  • the lever 9 In this closed position, the lever 9 is pressed by a return spring into a blocking position, in which the blocking block 21 lies between two stop surfaces 22 and 23 of the side parts 4 and 5 and prevents the folder mechanism from opening automatically.
  • the lever 9 can be moved by pushing it down by hand into an open position releasing the side parts 4 and 5, so that they reach the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • the base plate 1 with the bearing blocks 2 and 3 is made of plastic and is integrally connected to the bearing blocks 2 and 3.
  • the side parts 4 and 5 also exist made of plastic.
  • Arc-shaped alignment pins 6,6 'and 7,7' made of steel are attached to them.
  • the folder mechanism shown is designed as a two-hole mechanism, in which the respective cooperating alignment pins 6, 7 or 6 ', 7' have semicircular cross sections which complement one another in the area of the overlap of the alignment pins to form a circular cross section.
  • the arc-shaped alignment pins 6, 6 'and 7, 7' of the side parts 4 and 5 are connected to one another in one piece and angled at right angles from the respectively connecting part 20.
  • the connecting part 20 is accommodated on the back of the side parts 4 and 5 in a groove formed there. This courage connects the holes in the side parts 4 and 5, through which the alignment pins 6,6 'and 7,7' are inserted.
  • the connecting part 20 of the alignment pins 6, 6 'and 7, 7' can be glued, clamped or welded into the groove of the side parts 4, 5. This has the advantage that the side parts 4 and 5 can be retrofitted with the aligners 6,6 ', 7,7'.
  • the side parts can also be designed and provided with a groove that both the alignment pins for a two-hole mechanism and the alignment pins for a four-hole mechanism can be attached to these side parts.
  • the alignment pins have a circular cross section and the alignment pins of one side part are, for example, 8 cm apart, while the alignment pins of the other side part are, for example, 6 cm apart and are offset inwards by 1 cm from the alignment pins of the first side part .
  • the cross-section of the alignment pins is round.
  • plastic from which the side parts are made can be molded around the alignment pins used in an injection mold and their connecting part.
  • the bearing block for the lever 9 is formed directly on the base plate 1. In this pedestal, the lever 9 is latched about the axis 17.
