Die weitere Verarbeitung der Rohstoffe durch Mahlen oder Bleichen und die Zwischenlagerung des Fasermaterials in Bütten erfordern eine höhere Konzentration, die sich wirtschaftlich mit rotierenden Scheibenfiltern oder Faltensiebeindickern erzielen lässt. In beiden Fällen taucht eine sich um eine horizontale Achse drehende Walze in einen Trog ein, in den die einzudickende Fasersuspension kontinuierlich eingeleitet wird. Die Walze, die aussen mit einem Siebgewebe bespannt ist, hat eine Ziehharmonika-ähnliche Gestalt, um die Siebfläche zu erhöhen. Rahmenschenkeln zugewandten Draht- bzw. - Figur 3 einen Schnitt durch einen radial verlaufenden Stab eines der beiden Siebträger samt eingebettetem Sieb entsprechend der Linie 3-3 in Figur 1;
- Figur 4 eine der Figur 1 entsprechende Stirnseitenansicht eines erfindungsgemässen Siebsegments für einen Faltensiebeindicker, und
Figur 5 einen Schnitt durch dieses Siebsegment entsprechend der Linie 5-5 in Figur 4.

Das in den Figuren 1 bis 3 gezeigte Scheibenfilter-Siebsegment besteht im wesentlichen aus zwei Siebgewebe-Zuschnitteilen 10 und zwei als einstückige Gussteile ausgebildeten Halbschalen 12, 14, deren jede einen Siebträger 16 sowie eine Rahmenhälfte 18 bildet. Die beiden Rahmenhälften ergeben zusammen einen in radialer Richtung äusseren Rahmenschenkel 20 sowie zwei in radialer Richtung verlaufende seitliche Rahmenschenkel 22 und sind längs dieser Rahmenschenkel über Schrauben 24 und Gewindebohrungen 26 fest miteinander verbunden, wobei in der Halbschale 12 Vertiefungen 28 für eine Aufnahme der Schraubenköpfe vorgesehen sind. Wie bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel sind die Rahmenhälften des erfindungsgemässen Siebsegments geschlossen und weisen deshalb auch noch einen inneren Rahmenschenkel 30 auf, wobei, wie dies die Figur 2 erkennen lässt, die beiden Hälften dieses inneren Rahmenschenkels in axialer Richtung im Abstand voneinander angeordnet sind, um ein Abströmen des Filtrats in einen Siebsegmentträger zu ermöglichen.The disc filter screen segment shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 essentially consists of two screen
Die Siebträger 16 bestehen aus radial verlaufenden Stäben 32 und quer dazu verlaufenden Stäben 34, die miteinander und den Rahmenhälften 18 einstückig verbunden sind, da die ganzen Rahmenhälften jeweils ein einziges Gussteil, und zwar insbesondere ein Kunststoff-Spritzgussteil,bilden. Da die Querstäbe 34, wie sich gleichfalls aus Figur 2 ergibt, gegeneinander anliegen, ist die vorstehend gemachte Aussage, daß die Siebträger in axialer Richtung im Abstand voneinander angeordnet sein sollen, natürlich nur so zu interpretieren, daß die die Siebe abstützenden Tragflächen der beiden Siebträger in axialer Richtung im Abstand voneinander liegen.The
