Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Brikettierpresse zur Herstellung länglicher Briketts aus zu verpressendem Pressgut. Bei den bekannten Brikettierpressen, mit denen Presslinge für die vorgenannten Verwendungszwecke hergestellt werden, erfolgt das Pressen in einem zylindrischen Behälter, in welchen das Pressgut von der Stirnseite her eingefüllt wird und wo es dann in der Längsrichtung verdichtet wird, worauf es in der Längsrichtung ausgestossen wird. Das hat zwei wesentliche Nachteile: der eine besteht darin, dass die Verdichtung des Pressgutes oft sehr inhomogen ist, dies besonders dann, wenn die Verdichtung in einem rohrförmigen Pressraum von beiden Enden her erfolgt, weil dann in der Mitte oft die Verdichtung wesentlich geringer ist als an den Enden. Bei andern Pressen, bei denen die Verdichtung nur dadurch bewirkt wird, dass das Pressgut durch ein konisches Rohr gepresst wird, entsteht eine grosse Oberflächenreibung, was je nach dem zu verpressendem Gut zu Wärmeschäden führen kann, ein Nachteil, der auch bei zylindrischem Pressraum auftreten kann, wenn die Ausstossgeschwindigkeit nicht hinreichend klein gehalten wird. All diese Nachteile weist nun die erfindungsgemässe Presse nicht mehr auf, da sie durch die im kennzeichnenden Teil des Anspruches 1 aufgeführten Merkmale gekennzeichnet ist. Zur Herstellung länglicher Briketts aus zu verpressendem Pressgut dienende Brikettierpresse mit einem Pressraum, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Pressraum durch eine im wesentlichen horizontale Rinne (2d) in einer quer zur Rinnen-Längsrichtung horizontal verschiebbaren Matrize (2b), einen zum Vorverdichten dienenden, vertikal verschiebbaren Stempel (5) und durch an beiden Stirnseiten des durch Matrize und Stempel gebildeten Raumes angeordnete Verdichterstempel (7a,8a) begrenzt wird, wobei Mittel vorhanden sind, um bei hochgezogenem Stempel die Rinne (2d) mit dem Pressgut zu füllen und Mittel, um bei hochgezogenem Stempel (5) die Matrize (2b) quer zur Rinnenlängsrichtung in eine zum Ausstossen des Briketts dienende Stellung zu verschieben, sowie einen Ausstosser (9), um das Brikett aus der Matrize auszustossen.1.
