Claims (4)

1. Procédé de brassage électrodynamique du cratère liquide d'une brame métallique (1) traversant une cage de rouleaux de soutien métalliques à l'extérieur de la lingotière, avec au moins un bobinage produisant un champ magnétique qui couvre un tronçon de la brame (1) et les rouleaux de soutien (4) correspondants, et fait passer et interrompt un courant électrique dans la brame (1), galvaniquement par l'intermédiaire des rouleaux de soutien (4), ledit procédé étant caractérisé en ce que le flux magnétique (B) produit par le champ magnétique est dirigé dans la brame métallique (1) et le courant électrique (I) circule dans la brame métallique (1) de façon à produire dans le cratère liquide (3) de cette dernière au moins deux forces motrices (P y) parallèles et opposées, à point d'application différent, et créant un brassage circulaire guidé du cratère liquide (3) dans un plan parallèle à la direction d'extraction (P) de la brame.

Dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre de procédé selon revendication 1, caractérisé par un bobinage de champ magnétique (10, 11), comprenant une partie de la brame métallique (1) et les rouleaux de soutien (4) correspondants, et dont le flux magnétique (Bz) est dirigé dans la brame métallique (1) parallèlement à sa direction d'extraction, tandis que le courant électrique (Ix), au voisinage du bobinage de champ magnétique (10, 11) circule transversalement dans la brame métallique, dans une zone différente et dans le sens opposé (figure 3).
3. Dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre de procédé selon revendication 1, caractérisé par un bobinage de champ magnétique (13/16 et/ou 14/15), comprenant une partie de la brame métallique (1) et les rouleaux de soutien (4) correspondants, et dont le flux magnétique (Bx) est dirigé transversalement dans la brame métallique (1), dans une zone différente et dans le sens opposé, tandis que le courant électrique (lz) circule dans la brame métallique parallèlement à sa direction d'extraction (figure 4a).
4. Dispositif selon revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que le plan du bobinage de champ magnétique (13/16 et/ou 14/15) est parallèle à la surface du grand côté de la brame métallique (1) appliquée sur les rouleaux de soutien (4); et le flux magnétique (Bx) est transmis per les rouleaux de soutien (4) (figure 4a).
