Claims (7)

1. Control lever pivoted onto a support, a wall or the like (5) and forming for instance an inner handle for operating the door of an automotive vehicle, of the kind comprising a recess-shaped bearing portion (2) the bottom of which is mounted in rocking relationship onto a means forming a pivot for the articulation of the lever (1) onto the said support or the said wall, characterized in that the pivot means is formed of the edge (4) of the support or of the wall (5) whereas the said recess (2) approximatively exhibits the shape of a re-entring dihedron the edge (3) of which is in contact with the edge (4) of the support or of the wall, the bottom of this recess (2) being applied against the said edge by a biasing means.
2. Lever according to claim 1, characterized in that the bottom or edge (3) of the recess (2) is extended on either side by a gap (7) each one defined by two bosses, abutments or the like (8, 8a, 9, 9a) allowing the positioning of the lever (1) within the wall (5) and restraining its movement.

Lever according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the bottom or edge (3) of the recess (2) is applied against the edge (4) of the wall (5) by a spring (12) coupled directly or through the medium of a transmission (13) to one (10) of the ends of the lever (1) and returning same to the rest position.

Lever according to one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it is mounted onto the wall (5) through partial engagement through an opening (6) formed into the said wall and comprising for that purpose notches or the like (15, 16) offering at first the passage to the aforesaid bosses or abutments (8. 8a, 9, 9a) and formed so as to be set back from the edge (4) of the opening (6) against which the bottom or edge (3) of the recess (2) of the lever (1) is then applied.

Lever according to one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that the aforesaid bosses or abutments (8, 8a, 9, 9a) each one comprise a flattening (17) co-operating with a portion (5a) of the wall (5) between the edge (4) and the aforesaid notches (15, 16) to limit the angle of pivoting of the lever (1).

Lever according to one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it is made in one single piece the portion (10) of which biased by the return means (12) on one side of the wall (5) forms an obtuse angle with the other portion (11) forming a handle on the other side of the wall, the bottom or edge (3) of the recess (2) of the lever being approximatively located at the point of junction of these two portions.
7. Vehicle fitted with at least one control lever forming for instance a door handle, according to any one of the foregoing claims.
