Description

The invention relates to a shoe insert made of a closed-cell foamed, cross-linked polmolefin body and a fiber layer arranged on the usable surface.

Shoe inserts of the specified type have been known for a long time. In addition to good thermal insulation, they are characterized by good adaptability to the human foot, dampen vibrations and shocks in an excellent manner and are inert to aggressive liquids over long periods of time. They can be easily reshaped and can therefore be regarded as almost ideal in terms of the equipment of both orthopedic and fashionably cut footwear. However, the moisture absorption and water vapor permeability are extremely low. Especially when using thin stockings made of synthetic fibers, this can lead to moisture and heat build-up in closed footwear after prolonged use, which is felt to be less pleasant. There was therefore a desire to further develop insoles of the type specified in such a way that even with increased sweating and after a long period of time such a build-up of moisture and heat in the area of the foot sole is avoided with great certainty or the thermal insulation is regulated. The above-mentioned advantages must not be impaired in solving this task.

According to the invention, a shoe insert is proposed consisting of a closed-cell foamed, crosslinked polyolefin body and a fiber layer arranged on the usable surface, in which the fiber layer consists of fibers or threads distributed in a pattern over the usable surface, which completely or partially penetrate the polyolefin body. The fibers or threads or the narrow gap between them and the surrounding foam body favor the transport of moisture and water vapor from the area of the usable surface to the underside in the proposed shoe insert. Good drainage is guaranteed at all times from this area, which is generally covered with moisture-permeable substances. For this reason, the proposed shoe insert not only ensures great thermal insulation and good adaptability to the footwear and the human being Foot, but also a particularly high comfort to the extent that a build-up of heat and moisture in the area of the usable area is safely avoided. The air permeability and thus the breathability are significantly improved.

The fiber layer can be welded or glued to the surface of the polyolefin body. In both cases, a film-like layer is formed between the actual fiber layer and the top of the polyolefin body, which contributes significantly to human stabilization.

In many cases, such stabilization is not desired, and in these cases the fiber layer can also be placed loosely on the top of the polyolefin body and connected to it only by the fibers or threads penetrating all or part of it. In this case, the usable surface feels particularly soft, supple and elastic.

The fibers or threads contain a large number of individual fibers, which are combined by interweaving, spinning and / or by a binder. The individual fibers of a bundle can have the same or different lengths.

The textile fiber layer can consist of loosely placed fibers or threads which are connected to one another only by fibers or threads drawn into or through the polyolefin body. The abrasion resistance may leave something to be desired, depending on the type of fibers or threads used.

For this reason, preference is often given to a fiber layer that has good inherent stability. The use of fabrics, knitted fabrics and / or nonwovens has proven to be particularly suitable. With a thickness of 1 to 3 mm, the pellet weight can advantageously be 50 to 250 g / m.

The moisture dissipation through the polyolefin body is promoted by using a fiber layer containing moisture-absorbing fibers or threads. In this case, as the moisture content increases, the thermal conductivity also increases, which is equivalent to a regulation of the heat transport that is dependent on the exposure. Fibers or threads made of cotton or rayon have proven to be excellent. However, the flat structure can also contain exclusively or in addition to the aforementioned fibers or threads those with a particularly high elasticity from hydrophobic materials. This ensures that the surface remains flat and soft to the touch, especially if the fibers or threads are crimped.

The fibers or threads distributed like a master over the surface can have a regularly recurring, small distance from one another. The smallest distance between two adjacent fibers or threads should be at least as large as three times the fiber or thread thickness, but not greater than the thickness of the polyolefin body. The individual fibers or threads can protrude through the polyolefin body to such an extent that the underside has freely protruding fiber or thread ends. The further transport of the moisture is guaranteed in a particularly good way.

The fibers or filaments may be adhesively bonded to the underside of the polyolefin body and thus give the arranged on the Nutzfläc h e fibrous layer provides additional support. An equivalent hold, combined with an additionally improved ability to wick away moisture, can, however, also be achieved if the fiber or thread ends protruding from the underside of the polyolefin body are connected to a suction layer specially applied in this area. This can be, for example, from an artificial or natural leather, an open-cell foam, a fiber layer that is solidified per se and / or from cellulose stand. The absorbent layer lies directly on the back of the actual shoe sole.

The fibers or threads can penetrate the polyolefin body vertically, but also obliquely and, if necessary, intersecting one another. The strength of the anchoring of the fiber layer can experience an additional increase. The density of the closed-cell foamed, crosslinked polyolefin body is preferably in the range between 50 and 120 kg / m 3 . Its usable area is preferably orthopedically adapted to the shape of the human foot. The design of the new shoe insert can follow the ideal conditions for each size, the fine adjustment, which contributes significantly to the individual wearing comfort, results automatically during use.

The shoe insert can subsequently be applied to an absorbent insole, for example by gluing or welding, but it can also be inserted loosely in the footwear. In the simplest case, it consists of a flat fabric with plane-parallel surfaces, which is tailored to the shape of the insole of the footwear. In addition, however, orthopedic training is also possible, for example by heating and deforming with a press tool designed according to the shape of the human foot. If a fiber layer with a content of thermally shrinkable fibers is used, then it makes sense to carry out the heating necessary for the shaping in such a way that the damping forces of the fibers are activated. The anchoring of a fiber layer that was initially only loosely placed on the usable surface experiences a significant increase during the forming.

The attached drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the shoe insert proposed according to the invention in a cross-sectional representation.
