Abstract
Description
L'invention a pour objet un dispositif pour le conditionnement des articles de grande longueur livrés en rouleaux et plus spécialement des bandes transporteuses souples pour les convoyeurs industriels de marchandises ou de matériaux.The invention relates to a device for packaging articles of great length delivered in rolls and more particularly flexible conveyor belts for industrial conveyors of goods or materials.
Les bandes transporteuses de grande longueur livrées sous forme enroulée donnnentdes rouleaux ayant souvent de 1,5 à 3 m de diamètre et pesant de l'ordre de 3 à 10 tonnes. Pour cela on utilise généralement de grands tourets en bois comprenant un noyau cylindrique et deux joues latérales circulaires. Ces tourets ne donnent guère satisfaction pour plusieurs raisons. D'abord ils sont chers et difficilement récupérables lorsqu'ils sont expédiés loin des usines de production des bandes. Ils sont malaisés à charger sur les camions ou wagons où ils doivent être soigneusement calés. Leur transport maritime est souvent pénalisé parce qu'ils ne sont pas superposables et se prêtent mal à une occupation optimum du volume des cales de navires. Sur terrain meuble, les joues latérales s'enfoncent et peuvent permettre aux tourets de basculer ou de se déformer, gênant ainsi le déroulage ultérieur de la bande.The very long conveyor belts delivered in rolled form give rolls often having from 1.5 to 3 m in diameter and weighing of the order of 3 to 10 tonnes. - - une palette horizontale sur laquelle est fixée le chassis du chevalet du type comprenant des longerons qui sont perpendiculaires au plan vertical de l'axe du rouleau et surélevés du sol par des traverses espacées pour offrir un passage à la fourche d'un chariot élévateur, au moins latéralement dans le sens parallèle à l'axe du rouleau.

De cette façon la palette 2 peut être prise par la fourche d'un chariot élévateur de type classique cette fourche étant engagée latéralement suivant la flèche F1, c'est à dire parallèlement à l'axe du rouleau. Cet arrangement permet de soulever l'ensemble dans de meilleures conditions d'équilibrage sur le chariot. En variante on pourrait encore prévoir, sous les traverses 17, des patins d'appui au sol parallèles aux longerons 16 et surélevant ces traverses en vue de permettre une prise de la palette aussi dans le sens frontal par la fourche du chariot introduite suivant la flèche F2.
On remarque aussi que la palette 2 est agencée pour affleurer ou déborder le chassis du chevalet 1 de sorte que cette palette peut être utilisée commodemment pour constituer par elle-même le fond d'une caisse d'embalage 18 qui enferme l'ensemble chevalet-palette et rouleau. Le dispositif obtenu est illustré sur la fig. 4 qui montre une caisse de type à claire-voie formée de planches de bois espacées.We also note that the
