Definitions

  • the invention relates to shoes with an outsole molded by injection molding or the like, the shaft of which is connected by means of a seam to an insole covering the outsole and has an outwardly facing lower edge which is trimmed after the outsole has been molded on. It also relates to a method for producing such shoes, the upper being sewn together from appropriate blanks, the insole then being sewn onto the upper, and finally the outsole being molded on after the shoe upper thus produced has been produced.
  • the invention is based on the object of proposing a design for shoes with a molded outsole that does not have the aforementioned deficiencies of the prior art, i. H.
  • a clean fitting ensures that the outsole adheres reliably to the upper and enables the shoe to be finished in a simple manner after the outsole has been molded on.
  • the insole in the shoe according to the invention only extends as far as the transition between the shaft and the edge strip projecting outwards.
  • the sole has been cast on, only the upper leather then has to be trimmed in the shoe according to the invention, which can be done in a simple manner and with comparatively light tools. In particular, no grinding or the like is necessary, so that there is also no risk of damaging the sole.
  • the fact that the insole only extends to the transition point between the upper and the shaft has the advantage that the dimensions of the insole correspond exactly to the underside of the last.
  • the shoe can be put on very precisely for injection molding the outsole, since the operator on the machine has the possibility of orienting himself exactly at the edge which delimits the sole surface and is usually present on the underside of the last. It is only necessary to cover the outer edge of the insole with this edge on the last. This is particularly facilitated if the insole is made of easily bendable, only slightly stretchable material, as this will result in the lei being incorrectly folded up would draw the most accurate edge.
  • the use of the very flexible insole also has the advantage that you get a very good and easily bendable shoe bottom, which was not always the case with the previously known shoes in flexible design, especially because of the usually comparatively large Thickness of the midsole, but also because of the frequently used gluing between the outsole and midsole.
  • the shoes according to the invention therefore differ from the shoes known hitherto on the one hand by considerably better and more precise workmanship, on the other hand by their particularly good flexibility, and there is also the possibility of saving a relatively large amount of material for the midsole, because an insole is normally also added anyway is used.
  • the insole can be made from different materials. Particularly good wearing properties are obtained if the insole is made of leather and has a non-elastic or slightly non-stretchable overlay on the underside, preferably made of textile material, which is expediently connected flat to the insole.
  • a decorative seam running at the same distance from the outer edge of the lower edge and penetrating only the upper, along which a special seam runs to fix the insole to the upper.
  • a decorative seam is easy to apply, gives an appealing look to the shoe and at the same time can be used in a simple manner as a marker for sewing in the insole.
  • the decorative seam With an appropriate arrangement of the decorative seam, it is covered on the underside by the cast-on outsole, so that there is no risk of water penetration in the region of the seam.
  • the comfort of shoes according to the invention can be improved in that - in a known manner - in the injected outsole directly below the insole, an insert, for. B. made of felt, fleece or the like.
  • This insert can, however, come into its own particularly well in the shoe according to the invention, since a good bendable insole is usually provided.
  • the molded outsole can be provided on the upper side with bulges or depressions which form a footbed and which are produced in a simple manner when the outsole is cast on. For this it is only necessary to provide corresponding recesses or protrusions on the underside of the last used during the casting.
  • the shoe according to the invention can be produced in various ways, the upper always being sewn together from appropriate blanks, the insole then sewn onto the upper and finally the outsole being molded on after the shoe upper thus produced has been produced.
  • a special manufacturing method is now proposed, which is characterized in that before the insole is fastened, the - sewn together - shaft with a transition point to the outwardly pointing lower edge, always running at the same distance from the edge of the lower edge Provide a decorative seam or marking and then the insole is sewn with its peripheral edge along this decorative seam or marking on the upper, and that when the upper of the shoe is subsequently attached, this is aligned with the last so that the peripheral edge of the insole runs along a sole-side edge of the last .
  • Such a procedure has the advantage, on the one hand, that the decorative seam or marking can be produced without difficulty precisely, namely depending on the edge of the lower edge, because the edge of the lower edge is predetermined by the die cut with corresponding accuracy.
  • the insole can then be stitched in very precisely along the resulting decorative seam or marking.
  • the quilted insole in turn, in conjunction with the edge on the underside of the last, provides reliable help for a clean listing of the shoe upper for spraying, so that the molded-on sole sits almost exactly on the upper or shaft of all shoes.
  • the shoe according to the invention comprises, as can be seen from Fig. 2, a conventional shaft 1, which is closed on the underside by a sewn insole 2, an insert 3, z. B. from felt, fleece or the like, and a molded outsole 4th
  • the upper 1 is provided with an outwardly facing lower edge 5 which, in the exemplary embodiment shown, has two decorative seams 6 which only penetrate the lower edge 5.
  • the seams may be relatively coarse.
  • the insole 2 is only so large in the shoe according to the invention that its peripheral edge 7 comes as close as possible to the transition point 8 between the actual upper 1 and the lower edge 5. It is sewn along its peripheral edge 7 by means of a seam 9 in the transition region 8 between the shaft 1 and the lower edge 5, the seam 9 (as Fig. Can be seen) in the area of the outside of the shoe covers the inside of the decorative seams 6 as precisely as possible.
  • the insole 2 consists of a material that is as soft as possible but not stretchable, for example it is produced in two layers from an upper leather layer and a lower layer made of non-stretchable material, for example textile material, whereby the lower layer can be connected to the upper leather layer.
  • the cast-on outsole 4 is provided with a footbed on the upper side. Only one protrusion 10 serving as a pad is shown in the drawing.
  • the edge 5 of the upper 1 in the shoe according to the invention comes in direct contact with the material of the molded or molded outsole 4 in the region of its underside 11.
  • the outsole 4 in the area of the underside 11 of the edge 5 can be connected securely to the edge 5 and thus to the shaft 1 without difficulty.
  • the underside 11 of the edge 5 is usually roughened from the house, since it is usually the Aass side.
  • the underside 11 of the edge 5 can optionally be sharpened or provided with an adhesive agent application.
  • the shoe according to the invention has no midsole. This significantly increases its flexibility compared to the known flexible shoes with molded outsoles and also improves the adhesion between the shaft and the outsole, which in the known shoes was only achieved via the seam between the midsole and the shaft.
  • the outsole 4 When the material forming the outsole 4 is poured into the mold cavity 21, the latter presses the insert 3 and thus the insole 2 against the underside 23 of the last 13, so that a possibly mirror image of a footbed is shown perfectly on the top of the outsole 4.
  • its underside is treated with an adhesion promoter or adhesive before the mold is closed.
  • outsole 4 can of course be designed as desired, for which it is only necessary to shape the walls of the mold cavity 21 accordingly.
  • the outer edge 22 of the sole can be profiled without the risk of damage, because after demolding only the relatively thin and soft, protruding strip of the edge 5 of the shaft 1 is removed must be cut.
  • the form shown is of course shown purely schematically. The exact design of the shape will depend on the respective shift and sole design.
