Abstract

Leiutis käsitleb Lactobacillus plantarum Inducia DSM 21379 kasutamist hüpokolestereemilise, antimikroobse ja antioksüdatiivse agendina. Nimetatud tüve sisaldavatel toiduainetel ja toidulisanditel on südant kaitsev toime. Mikroorganismi L. plantarum Inducia kasutatakse kolesterooli metabolismi häirete ja südameveresoonkonnahaiguste ennetamiseks, kuna ta vähendab LDL-kolesterooli taset ja samaaegselt tõstab organismi antioksüdatiivset aktiivsust, mõjutades oksüdatiivse stressi markereid soovitud suunas - oksüdeeritud madala tihedusega lipoproteiinide (ox-LDL) tase ja oksüdatiivse stressi indeks (OSI) vähenevad. Tüve L. plantarum Inducia kasutatakse ka antimikroobse agendina endogeenset või eksogeenset päritolu Clostridium difficile põhjustatud kõhulahtisuse (CDAD) riski vähendamiseks. L. plantarum Inducia takistab Clostridium difficile eoste germinatsiooni ja Clostridium difficile vegetatiivsete rakkude paljunemist. Tüvi L. plantarum Inducia on kasutatav samaaegselt antibiootikumraviga. Clostridium difficile vastased kompositsioonid võivad lisaks sisaldada ka ksülitooli.
