Abstract
Se proporciona un polinucleótido que codifica una proteína con actividad para transferir un azúcar al grupo hidroxilo en la posición ‘4 de una flavona. El polinucleótido se selecciona del grupo que consiste en: (a) un polinucleótido compuesto de la secuencia base de número de identificación de secuencia 1; (b) un polinucleótido que se hibrida bajo condiciones rigurosas con un polinucleótido compuesto de una secuencia base complementaria a la secuencia base de número de identificador de secuencia 1, y codifica una proteína con actividad para transferir un azúcar al grupo hidroxilo en la posición 4’ de una flavona; (c) un polinucleótido que codifica una proteína compuesta de la secuencia de aminoácidos de número de identificación de secuencia 2; (d) un polinucleótido que codifica una proteína compuesta de una secuencia de aminoácidos en la que un aminoácido, o una pluralidad de aminoácidos, han sido eliminados, sustituidos, insertados y/o añadidos en la secuencia de aminoácidos de número de identificador de secuencia 2, y con actividad para transferir un azúcar al grupo hidroxilo en la posición 4’ de una flavona.
