Abstract

Un método para cementar un pozo que comprende preparar una composición de cementación para pozos que comprende un material cementoso y un aditivo biopolímero modificado en donde el aditivo biopolímero modificado es el producto de reacción de un proceso que comprende contactar un biopolímero y un carbonato orgánico para formar una mezcla de reacción y someter la mezcla de reacción a una temperatura de aproximadamente 100 °F (38°C) a aproximadamente 250 °F (121°C) y colocar el fluido de cementación para pozos en el pozo.
