Abstract
La presente invención proporciona métodos para la reducción de emisiones de mercurio desde plantas de cemento. En un método, se inyecta un adsorbente del carbón activado en polvo en una corriente de gas de una planta de cemento en uno o más puntos después del horno y antes del dispositivo de recolección de partículas de la planta de cemento. También se proporciona un aparato para disminuir las emisiones desde una planta de cemento, el cual aparato comprende dos o más lechos en una serie que comprendeun primer lecho que es un lecho móvil, yuno o más lechos restantes que son lechos fijos, los cuales lechos fijos comprenden al menos un adsorbente que puede absorber al menos uno de mercurio, hidrocarburos y ácido clorhídrico.Otro método para reducir las emisiones desde una planta de cemento emplea el aparato descrito anteriormente.
