Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con una composición herbaria que comprende una cantidad terapéuticamente efectiva del extracto de una planta que pertenece a la especie Calophyllum como un ingrediente activo y opcionalmente, un vehículo farmacéuticamente aceptable. La presente invención también se relaciona con una composición que comprende una cantidad terapéuticamente efectiva del extracto de las plantas de la especie Calophyllum en combinación con un agente terapéuticamente activo para uso en el tratamiento de trastornos metabólicos.
