Abstract
La presente invención se refiere en general a procesos para la conversión quimiocatalítica de una fuente de glucosa en un producto de ácido adípico. La presente invención incluye procesos para la conversión de glucosa en un producto de ácido adípico a través de ácido glucárico o derivados del mismo. La presente invención también incluye procesos que comprenden la oxidación catalítica de glucosa en ácido glucárico o un derivado del mismo y procesos que comprenden la hidrodesoxigenación catalítica de ácido glucárico o derivados del mismo en un producto de ácido adípico. La presente invención también incluye productos producidos a partir de un producto de ácido adípico y procesos para la producción de los mismos a partir de dicho producto de ácido adípico.
