Abstract

Las composiciones y métodos aquí descritos satisfacen la necesidad de la técnica al proveer plantas transgénicas, células de plantas, tejidos, órganos, frutos o flores en las cuales la regulación de sensibilidad al etileno puede ser controlada en forma confiable y segura, p.e., de una manera temporal, cualitativa y/o cuantitativa. Estas composiciones y métodos demuestran la regulación estricta de la expresión del gen, y por ende, la expresión hormonal, y son seguros para uso en cosechas agrícolas y alimentos, así como en otras plantas comercialmente valiosas.
