Abstract
Настоящее изобретение относится к рекомбинантному микроорганизму, содержащему одну или несколько нуклеотидных последовательностей, кодирующих полипептид, обладающий энт-копалил пирофосфат синтазной активностью; полипептид, обладающий энт-каурен синтазной активностью; полипептид, обладающий энт-каурен оксидазной активностью; и полипептид, обладающий активностью 13-гидролазы кауреновой кислоты, где посредством экспрессии этих нуклеотидных последовательностей микроорганизму придается способность продуцировать, по меньшей мере, стевиол. Рекомбинантный микроорганизм может также быть способен экспрессировать одну или несколько UDP-глюкозилтрансфераз, так чтобы микроорганизм был способен продуцировать один или несколько стевиол гликозидов.
