Изобретение относится к области мостостроения и может быть использовано при капитальном ремонте и реконструкции мостов с заменой аварийного(ых) железобетонного(ых) пролетного(ых) строения(й) балочного или сводчатого типа на пролетное(ые) строение(я) сводчатого типа с бесшарнирным монолитным сводом. Предложен способ капитального ремонта мостов, который включает демонтаж дорожной одежды и пролетных строений исходного моста, установку по меньшей мере одного пролетного строения арочного типа с использованием расположенных рядами в направлении продольной и поперечной осей моста опорных элементов исходного моста с последующим обустройством арочного грунтозасыпного моста и восстановлением дорожной одежды моста, причем до установки пролетного строения арочного типа опорные элементы исходного моста, выполненные в виде вертикальных свай, дополнительно забивают до уровня расчетной нагрузки, необходимой для свай отремонтированного моста, и снабжают по меньшей мере часть из них средством компенсации усилия распора, а в качестве пролетного строения арочного типа устанавливают бесшарнирную сводчатую железобетонную конструкцию.
