Abstract

The invention relates to a covering profile section with aluminium oblong sectional plates 10, which are connected to one another and sealed in relation to one another by their rounded longitudinal edges. Such a covering profile section is used for covering compartments or cargo and refrigerated holds, especially in cargo vessels. The covering profile section can be quickly fitted and is easy to keep clean, if the sectional plate 10 has a tongue 12 on one of its longitudinal edges and a complementary groove 14 on its other longitudinal edge, in proximity to which a sealing strip 22 is located, which bears against the tongue 12 of an adjacent sectional plate 10 engaging in the groove 14. <IMAGE>
