Description

Bei der allenthalben herrschenden Raumnot wird auch die Unterbringungen und Aufbewahrung von Geschirren (Speise-, Kaffee-, Teegeschirren u.a.m.) immer schwieriger, sei es in Haus und Küche, sei es im Hotel- und Gaststättenbetrieb. Selbst in Krankenhäusern, Erholungsheimen, Werkstücken und andern Anstalten zur Gemeinschaftsverpflegung besteht ein lebhaftes Bedürfnis nach Beschränkung des Geschirr-Raumbedarfs. Zu der Aufgabe, Geschirr möglichst raumsparend zu stapeln, kommt die weitere, die Stapelung so vorzusehen, dass die Gegenstände übersichtlich gelagert werden, leicht greifbar sind und der Gefahr einer Beschädigung tunlichst entzogen bleiben. Letzteres ist von besonderer Bedeutung bei Geschirren aus keramischen d.i. zerbrechlichem Werkstoff.With the space shortage everywhere, the accommodation and storage of dishes (dishes, coffee, tea sets, etc.) is becoming increasingly difficult, be it in the house and kitchen, be it in the hotel and restaurant business. Das Aufeinanderstapeln von Tellern und anderen Flachgeschirren (Schalen, Platten) ist allgemein üblich, vorzugsweise im Hotelbetrieb. Schüsseln, Terrinen und ähnliche Hohlgeschirre werden in der Regel einzeln aufbewahrt, wobei gelegentlich ein kleineres Gefäss in ein grösseres gestellt wird. Hoteltassen sind mit einem stärker eingezogenen Fussrand versehen, um so aufeinander gestapelt werden zu können, dass jeweils der Fussrand der oberen Tasse in die Oeffnung der darunter befindlichen Tasse eintritt und die Abschulterung des Fusseinzuges der oberen Tasse sich auf dem Oeffnungsrand der unteren Tasse abstützt. Dabei entsteht aber ein erheblicher Raumbedarf, denn der Innenraum der aufeinander gestapelten Tassen bleibt ungenutzt bis auf den geringen Raumteil, den der in die untere Tasse hineinragende Fussrand der oberen Tasse einnimmt.The stacking of plates and other flatware (bowls, platters) is common practice, preferably in hotels.
