Diese Erfindung hat zum Gegenstande einen verbesserten, selbstthätigen Apparat zur Zuführung und Vertheilung des Brennmaterials in Zwischenräumen über die Feuerfläche.It is an object of this invention to provide an improved automatic feeding apparatus and distributing the fuel in interstices over the fire surface.

Fig. ι stellt eine Vorderansicht eines Kessels mit zwei Flammenrohren dar, woran diese Erfindung angebracht ist. Fig. 2 ist eine Seitenansicht; Fig. 3 ein Schnitt nach der Linie a b, Fig. 1; Fig. 4 ein Grundrifs von Fig. 1. Fig. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 und 10 sind Details von besonderen Theilen in gröfserem Mafsstabe. yBei A ist ein Trichter an der Vorderseite des Kessels angebracht, der mittelst der Walzen BB den Räumen C C Brennmaterial zufuhrt; das Brennmaterial gelangt auf die geneigten Lappen DD, die charnierartig an den Wellen E E aufgehängt sind. Diesen Querwellen EE wird durch die Hebel FF und Daumen G G (Fig. 6) eine oscillirende Bewegung ertheilt, wodurch die Lappen oder Thüren zurückgezogen werden bis die Daumen G G ihren Hub vollbracht haben; hierauf wird die Bewegung der Welle E plötzlich, durch eine Spiralfeder H oder 'ein angebrachtes Gewicht umgekehrt. Hierdurch erhalten die Lappen D D in der Richtung der Roststäbe eine rasche Vorwärtsbewegung, wodurch das Brennmaterial über einen Theil des Feuers geworfen und vertheilt wird.') Die Curvenscheibe G ist mit zwei oder mehreren ungleichen Loben versehen (Fig. 6), wodurch die Federn mehr oder weniger gespannt werden; so wird das Brennmaterial abwechselnd auf den vorderen Theil, die Mitte oder den hinteren Theil der Feuerfläche geworfen. Die Welle L * wird durch die feste und lose Scheibe MM getrieben und überträgt ihre Bewegung auf die Daumenwellen_//. Das Schneckenrad N auf L' dient zum Treiben der Walzen B B mittelst der verticalen Welle P. Auf dieser Welle befindet sich ein Excenter R der dem Hebel S eine schwingende Bewegung ertheilt. Das obere Ende des Hebels ist mit dem Kolben T verbunden, der so eine hin- und hergehende Bewegung in den Räumen C C, empfängt, wodurch ein bestimmtes Quantum Brennmaterial abwechselnd aus den Räumen nach beiden Seiten gedrückt wird, das die doppelten schiefen Ebenen CCCC herunterläuft und die Thüren DD erreicht, um dann beim nächsten Hube des Daumens, der Federn und der Wellen vorgeschoben zu werden.Fig. Ι shows a front view of a boiler with two flame tubes, to which this invention is attached.
