Description

Gemäß Abb. 2 und 3 ist α ein engmaschiges Siebband, das an Ketten b befestigt ist, die über Kettenräder c¹, c², c³ (Abb. 1) laufen. An dem Band b sind Gabeln e befestigt, die die Kartoffeln aus dem Boden mit dem Kraut herausreißen. Am Vorderteil der Maschine befinden sich Schaufeln f, die zum Auflockern des Bodens dienen. Beim Vorwärtsbewegen der Maschine nehmen die Greifer β die Kartoffeln mit dem Kraut mit, wobei der mitgerissene Sand durch das Siebband α hindurchfällt. Hat die eine Gabelreihe das Kettenrad c¹ passiert, so fallen die Kartoffeln durch den offenen Kasten i hindurch auf ein großmaschiges Siebband i. Die Maschen in diesem Sieb sind so weit, daß alle Kartoffeln hindurch und auf ein Siebband g fallen. Das Siebband g führt die Kartoffeln in bekannter Weise auf einen nebenher fahrenden Wagen. Es bewegt sich zwischen den Rollen k (Abb. ι und 5) unter demjenigen Teil des Siebbandes i, auf welchen Kraut und Kartoffeln geworfen werden.Fig. 2 is a view from the rear,

Die Kartoffeln, welche an die Leiste I stoßen, können nicht über sie hinweg und werden dabei vom Kraut abgerissen. Hierdurch wird erreicht, daß sich das Siebband α in Richtung des Pfeiles 1 (Abb. 1) bewegt. Ferner ist mit der Welle «² ein Kettenrad s verbunden, welches das Kettenrad t antreibt. Dieses bewegt das Sieb * in Richtung des Pfeiles 2 (Abb. 1). Das Kettenrad^» treibt das Kettenrad u im Winkel an. Der Winkelantrieb ist erforderlich, weil das Siebband g senkrecht zur Bewegungsrichtung der Maschine liegt. Das Kettenrad u bewegt das Siebband g in Richtung des Pfeiles 3 (Abb. 2).Fig. 4 shows a possible drive for the machine.
