Es sind Atemschutzgeräte bekannt, die aus einem an einem Mundstück
oder an einer Maske-Voll- oder Halbmaske -getragenen Staubfilter bestehen. Dabei
ist .das Staubfilter entweder in den Maskenkörper eingearbeitet oder in einem sogenannten
Filtergehäuse untergebracht, das durch Verschraubung oder durch eine Gummstüll@e
mit der Maske verbunden wird. Soweit das Staubfilter in der Maske selbst untergebracht
ist, ist die Größe des. Staubfilters durch die Maskenform beschränkt. Aber auch
ein an der Maske anschraubbares und von der Maske getragenes Staubfilter kann eine
bestimmte Größe nicht überschreiten, da sonst ein zu großes Staubfilter einmal die
Bewegungen des Gerätträgers und zum ,anderen auch dessen Blickfeld stören würde.
Infolge dieser bekannten Befestigungsarten sind die Staubfilter an eine bestimmte
Größegebunden, zum andern ist aber auch die Leistung des Staubfilters von seiner
Größe abhängig. Das Staubfilter bestellt im allgemeinen aus einem Fasermaterial
oder einem anderen Material, das bei der Durchatmung einen Widerstand bietet. Im
Interesse der Senkung dieses Widerstandes war man bestrebt, das Staubfilter möglichst
großflächig auszubilden, soweit das durrJh die Ausmaße des Behälters, in dem das
Staubfilter an der Maske untergebracht werden mußte, möglich war. Zur Vergrößerung
des Staubfilters .ist man dann dazu übergegangen, das Schwebstoffilter in bestimmter

Die Erfindung erstrebt, den Atemwiderstand des Staubfilters noch weiter
zu senken, ohne daß dabei die Atemmaske durch, ein größer werdendes Staubfilter
belastet ist und ohne daß das Blickfeld durch einen größeren Filterbecher eingeschränkt
ist. Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß das Staubfilter an der vor der Brust getragenen
Grubenlampe befestigt und durch einen Atemschlauch mit der Maske verbunden .ist.
Bei dieser Bauform ist die Maske nur noch mit einem Faltenschlauch belastet, der
zur Brust führt und dort aridem Staubfilter angeordnet ist. Das Staubfilter selbst
wird dort ohne Belästigung des Blickfeldes getragen. Das Staubfiltergehäuse 'kann
verhältnismäßig ,groß ausgebildet sein, so daß ein entsprechend großes Schwebstofffilter
untergebracht werden kann. Dabei- kann das Staubfilter die Grubenlampe umgeben.
Das Staubfilter besteht zweckmäßig aus einem Feinstaubfilter und -einem diesem vorgeschalteten
Grobstaubfilter. Dabei kann das Grobstaubfilter sackartig aus einem Gewebe gebildet
:sein., das. das Feinstaubfilter allseitig oder auch nur an einer Seite umgibt.
Durch Klopfen mit der Hand kann das sackartige Grobstaubfilter vom Staub befreit

Staubfilter über einen Atemschfauch mit der Maske verbunden sein. Bei dieser Bauform
kann z. B. an beiden Seiten der Grubenlampe je ein besonderes Staubfilter befestigt
sein, das an seinem Außenteil ein als Grobstaubfilter wirkendes Gewebe besitzt,
wobei dann in den Weg der einströmenden Luft je ein Fein.staubfil,ter eingeordnet
ist, von dem der Atemschlauch zur Maske führt. Eine besonders zweckmäßige Bauform
besteht darin, daß das Grobstaubfilter schlauchartig ausgebildet ist, wobei der
Schlauch die Grubenlampe nach unten umgibt und an seinen beiden Enden zwei Feinstaubfilter
