L)ie Erfindung
bezieht sich auf Flaschenkorken, an denen ein Zugmittel zum Herausziehen des Korkens
aus der Flasche befestigt ist, und bezweckt, einen solchen Korken derart auszubilden,
daß er an dem Zugmittel heil aus dem Flaschenhals herausgezogen werden kann und
daß der dichte Abschluß der Flasche weder gefährdet noch der Geschmack des Flascheninhalts
dadurch beeinträchtigt wird. i.s ist bereits eine Korkziehvorrichtung bekannt, bei
der eine Schnur als Zugmittel durch eine oder mehrere I301lrutlgel2 des Korkens
hindurchgezogen wird, die jedoch den Nachteil hatte, daß das Zugmittel beim Herausziehen
des Korkens in diesen einschnitt und ihn zerriß, so daß das einwandfreie Entkorken
der Flasche oft vereitelt wird, und zwar iiisbesotidere dann, wenn der Korken in
mehreren liichtungen durchbohrt oder durchstochen und damit in seinem Widerstande
geschwächt ist. Man hat (lesliall auch schon eine solche Anbringung des Zugmittels
vorgeschlagen, bei dem dieses in einen schwachen Einschnitt der Unterfläche des
Korkens derart hineingezogen ist, daß er hier durch Klemmung festgehalten wird,
wobei ein auf der Unterfläche des Korkens liegender Knoten der Zugschnur deren tieferes
Eindringen verhindern sollte. Dieser Vorschlag hat aber den erheblichen Nachteil,
daß der Flascheninhalt mit dem Knoten an der Unterfläche des f&orkens in Berührung
treten und dadurch den Geschmack der Flaschenfüllung beeinträchtigen kann.Bottle cork with a pulling device attached to it

Demgegenüber besteht die Erfindung zunächst darin, daß das Zugmittel
in Gestalt eines Fadens oder l)rahtes so nahe der Unterfläche des Korkens quer durch
diesen hindurchgeführt ist, daß nahezu die gesamte Höhe des Korkens als Widerstand
gegen die Zugkraft beim Herausziehen des Korkens zur Verfügung steht. Wie die Erprobung
gezeigt hat, kann man auf diese Weise sellist einen außer-
gewöhnlich
festsitzenden Korken ohne tieferes Einschneiden des Zugmittels heil aus der Flasche
herausziehen, während andererseits der Flascheninhalt nur mit der unversehrten Unterfläche
des Korkens in Berührung kommt und dadurch vor der erwähnten Geschmacksbeeinträchtigung
durch das Zugmittel geschützt ist. Zweckmäßigerweise wird als Zugmittel ein kräftiger,
aber nicht zu dicker Garnfaden oder Draht verwendet und durch den Korken in seinem
Unterteile quer hindurchgeführt. Ein solches Zugmittel preßt sich beim Eintreiben
des Korkens derart zwischen diesen und die Flaschenwandung oder auch in das etwas
nachgiebige Material des Korkens ein, daß die Abdichtung an diesen Stellen keine
Unterbrechung erleidet. Man kann aber zu diesem Zwecke erfindungsgemäß auch zwei
flache Längsrillen in der Mantelfläche des Korkens vorsehen, in die sich das Zugmittel
einbettet; dies empfiehlt sich insbesondere dann, wenn man dafür einen dickeren
Faden oder einen Draht wählt. Bei einem Korken gemäß der Erfindung ist es vermeidbar,
daß das Zugmittel, das erfindungsgemäß zweckmäßigerweise mit einer einen Griff aufweisenden
Schlaufe versehen wird, die Anwendung von Vorrichtungen zum Eintreiben des Korkens,
insbesondere von Verkorkmaschinen, behindert oder ausschließt. Zu diesem Zwecke
kann man nach einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung das Zugmittel in zwei Teilen
ausbilden, und zwar derart, daß der eine Teil den Korken durchdringt, mit seinen
Enden an dessen Längsseiten entlanggeführt und auf dessen oberer Fläche verknüpft
ist, während der andere, den Griff tragende Teil nach dem Eintreiben oder erst vor

wird. Die zweiteilige Ausführung des Erfindungsgegenstandes bietet vor allem den
Vorteil, daß über das Mundstück der verkorkten Flasche ohne weiteres in üblicher
