ziemlich unhandlich und in der Herstellung teuer. Zweck der Erfindung ist es, einen
wesentlich einfacheren und billiger herzustellenden Dekkel für Kochtöpfe mit zurückspringender
Rille im abgesetzten Topfrand zu schaffen, derart, da auch ein gewöhnlicher Kochtopf
als Dampfkochtif benutzt werden kann. Dieser Zweck wird dadurch erreicht, daß gemäß
der Erfindung der Deckel mehr oder weniger gewölbt ausgeführt ist und einen etwa
senkrecht nach unten gerichteten, glatten und stumpfen Rand besitzt, so daß der
Deckel in die übliche Rille im abgesetzten Rand eines normalen Kochtopfes eingesetzt
werden kann. Der sich beim Kochen entwickelnde Dampf schlägt sich dann an der Innenseite
des Deckels nieder, und das herabtropfende Kondenswasser bildet in der Rille des
Kochtopfrandes einen Luftabschluß. Auf diese Weise wird es möglich, einen normalen
Kochtopf als Dampfkochtopf zu benutzen, um die Speisen schneller und stärker gar
