Claims (28)
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines mehrschichtigen
Produkts mit den Schritten:
Bilden eines Substrates aus einem Fluorpolymer; und
Beschichten des Fluorpolymers mit einem Polymer aus der Gruppe der hitzehärtbaren Polymere und
thermoplastischen Elastomere um chemische Bindungen zwischen den Schichten herzustellen.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei das hitzehärtbare Polymer ein hitzehärtbares Elastomer ist.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, weiter beinhaltend den Schritt, Hitze auf das mehrschichtige Produkt
anzuwenden.
4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, weiter beinhaltend den Schritt, Druck auf das mehrschichtige Produkt
anzuwenden.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, weiter beinhaltend den Schritt, eine Oberfläche des Fluorpolymers zu
aktivieren.
6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, weiter beinhaltend den Schritt, eine Oberfläche des Fluorpolymers zu
.&igr;
aktivieren, indem die Oberfläche einem Gas-Plasmagemisch ausgesetzt wird.
7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, weiter beinhaltend den Schritt, das Fluorpolymersubstrat mit einer
Geschwindigkeit von 1 bis 50 Fuß/Minute durch das Gas/Plasmagemisch zu führen.
8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, wobei der Schritt, die Oberfläche einem Gas/Plasmagemisch auszusetzen,
weiter den Schritt beinhaltet, die Oberfläche dem Gas/Plasmagemisch bei Umgebungstemperatur und unter
Druck auszusetzen.
9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, wobei des
Fluorpolymersubstrat eine Röhre ist.
10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, weiter beinhaltend
den Schritt, dem hitzehärtbaren Elastomer vor dem Schritt des Beschichtens ein Vulkanisiermittel
zuzufügen.
11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, wobei das Fluorpolymersubstrat eine integrierte mehrschichtige
Röhre ist, wobei eine innere Schicht aus einem leitfähigen Fluorpolymer und eine äußere Schicht aus
einem nicht-leitfähigen Fluorpolymer besteht.

12. Röhre, bestehend aus einer inneren Schicht aus Fluorpolymer und einer aufgebrachten und chemisch an
eine äußere Oberfläche der inneren Schicht aus Fluorpolymer gebundenen Schicht aus einem Polymer aus
der Gruppe der hitzehärtbaren Polymere und thermoplastischen Elastomere.
13. Röhre nach Anspruch 12, wobei die hitzehärtbare Polymerschicht eine hitzehärtbare
Elastomerschicht ist.
14. Röhre nach Anspruch 13, wobei die Fluorpolymerschicht extrudiert ist und die
hitzehärtbare Elastomerschicht auf die Fluorpolymerschicht aufextrudiert ist.
15. Röhre nach Anspruch 13, wobei das hitzehärtbare Elastomer aus einem Copolymer aus Ethylen
und Methylacrylat mit einem aufvulkanisierten Monomer ist.
16. Röhre nach Anspruch 13, wobei das Fluorpolymer ein Ethylen-Tetrafluorethylenpolymer und das
hitzehärtbare Elastomer ein Copolymer aus Ethylen und Methylacrylat mit einem aufvulkanisierten Monomer ist.
17. Röhre nach Anspruch 13, wobei die Fluorpolymerschicht eine innere leitfähige
Fluorpolymerschicht und eine äußere, nicht-leitfähige
Fluorpolymerschicht aufweist, auf die das hitzehärtbare Elastomer aufgebracht ist.
18. Ein mehrschichtiges Produkt, bestehend aus: einer Fluorpolymerschicht mit einer ersten und
einer zweiten Seite,
einer Polymerschicht aus der Gruppe der hitzehärtbaren Polymere und thermoplastischen
Elastomere mit einer ersten und einer zweiten Seite, wobei die erste Seite des Polymers in Berührung mit der
ersten Seite der Fluorpoymerschicht steht und chemisch an diese gebunden ist, und
einem Verstärkungsmaterial, das zwischen den zweiten Seiten der Fluorpolymerschicht und der
Polymerschicht eingebettet ist.
19. Das mehrschichtige Produkt von Anspruch 18, wobei das hitzehärtbare Polymer ein hitzehärtbares
Elastomer ist.
20. Die in Anspruch 19 beschriebene Erfindung, wobei das Verstärkungsmaterial ein Geflecht ist.
21. Die in Anspruch 19 beschriebene Erfindung, wobei das Verstärkungsmaterial bei einer
Verbindungsstelle zwischen den ersten Seiten der Schichten eingebettet ist.

22. Die in Anspruch 19 beschriebene Erfindung, wobei das Verstärkungsmaterial in der hitzehärtbaren
Elastomerschicht eingebettet ist.
23. Die Anspruch 19 beschriebene Erfindung, wobei die hitzehärtbare Elastomerschicht aus wenigstens zwei
hitzehärtbaren Elastomerschichten besteht und wobei das Verstärkungsmaterial zwischen den hitzehärtbaren
Elastomerschichten eingebettet ist.
24. Die in Anspruch 23 beschriebene Erfindung, wobei das Verstärkungsmaterial ein Geflecht ist.
25. Die in Anspruch 19 beschriebene Erfindung, wobei das mehrschichtige Produkt eine Röhre ist.
26. Die in Anspruch 19 beschriebene Erfindung, wobei die Fluorpolymerschicht eine innere leitfähige
und eine äußere nicht-leitfähige Fluorpolymerschicht
aufweist.
27. Eine Röhre bestehend aus einer inneren Polymerschicht und einer auf einer äußeren Oberfläche
der inneren Polymerschicht aufgebrachten und chemisch an diese gebundenen Polymerschicht aus der Gruppe der
hitzehärtbaren Polymere und thermoplastischen Elastomere.
28. Die Röhre gemäß Anspruch 27, wobei das hitzehärtbare Polymer ein hitzehärtbares Elastomer ist,
