Die Erfindung betrifft ein Straiigpreßverfahren, das sich durch große Einfachheit und Zuverlässigkeit auszeichnet. Dieses Verfahren besteht darin, daß das Metallpulver mit Kunststoffpulver, beispielsweise in einer 1lenge von 3 bis ioo/o, gemischt und das Gemisch bei einer solchen Temperatur stranggepreßt wird, bei der das Kunststoftpulver flüssig wird. Für diesen Zweck eignen sich an sich alle handelsüblichen Kunststoffe, wie z. B. Phenol, Kresol- und Harnstoffharze. Wegen der etwas störenden Härtungserscheinungen der Kunstharze sind jedoch solche Kunststoffe vorzuziehen, die, wie z. B. Polystyrol, ohne zu härten flüssig werden. In vielen Fällen empfiehlt es sich, solche Kunststoffe zu verwenden, die bei den jeweils in Frage kominenden Sintertemperaturen sich praktisch restlos verflüchtigen. Auch in dieser Beziehung ist Polystyrol empfehlenswert, cla es bei den Sinterl>edingungen, wie sie beispielsweise bei der Herstellung von Aluminium-Nickel-Sintermagneten angewandt werden, bis auf einen kleinen, unbedeutenden Rückstand sich verflüchtigt. Der Kunststoffgehalt ist jeweils so zu bemessen, daß einerseits das Gemisch genügend teigig wird, anderseits aber auch der Strang beim Austritt aus der Düse der Presse genügend formbeständig bleibt. -Nach dem Austritt aus der Düse wird der Strang in an sich bekannter Weise in einzelne Formkörper unterteilt, die alsdann in der Regel in ebenfalls bekannter Weise gesintert werden.The invention relates to a Straiigpreßverfahren, which by large Simplicity and reliability.
