Description
Verfahren zur Erhöhung der Adsorptionsfähigkeit und Desinfektionswirkung von Gesundheitszusätzen zu Futtermitteln Bei den Versuchen, den alljährlich zur Zeit der Rübenblattfütterung auftretenden Durchfall des Rindviehs zu verhüten bzw. zu heilen, hat man beobachtet, daß sich eine Beifütterung von Mitteln, die Kohle in adsorptionsfähiger Form enthalten, günstig auswirkt. Es sind daher eine Anzahl von Mischungen, die derartige Kohle enthalten, entwickelt und als Gesundheitszusätze auf den Markt gebracht worden mit dem Ziel, die Schäden und Unbequemlichkeiten der Rübenblattfütterung zu umgehen. Trotz des Vorteils, den die Anwendung von adsorptionsfähigen, aktiven Kohlen bietet, weisen alle bisherigen Präparate den Mangel auf, daß ihre Desinfektionswirkung nichtausreichend ist. Es war deshalb erwünscht und bildet den Innalt der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein Verfahren zu entwickeln, das die Herstellung von Gesundheitszusätzen ermöglicht, die mit einer guten Adsorptions- auch eine hinreichende Desinfektionswirkung verbinden und deren Unschädlichkeit auch bei Überdosierung außer Frage steht.Process for increasing the adsorption capacity and disinfecting effect of health additives to animal feed To prevent or prevent diarrhea in cattle at the time of beet leaf feeding To heal, it has been observed that there is a supplementary feeding of means, the coal contained in adsorptive form, has a beneficial effect. Die bakterizide Wirkung einer derartigen Tonerdegallerte beruht darauf, daß die schädlichen Fremdkörper bzw. Bakterien adsorbiert, umhüllt und somit unschädlich gemacht werden. Die wasserreichen Tonerdegallerten neigen nun dazu, unter Wasserabgabe mit der Zeit zu altern und durch diesen Vorgang ihre guten Eigenschaften zu verlieren, so daß eine Beigabe von wasserreicher Tonerdegallerte zu den Gesundheitszusätzen außer . a&m Nachteil der feuchten und klebrigen Beschaffenheit auch den des Wirksamkeitsverlustes bei längerer Lagerung mit sich gebracht hätte.It was assumed here from the well-known fact that water-rich Alumina jelly is an excellent and completely harmless disinfectant represents, which at the same time also has considerable adsorbing properties. Hierzu genügt es, handelsübliches schwefelsaures Aluminium in fester Form in inniger Mischung mit 'feingemahlenen kohlensaurem Kalk zu verwenden. Von letzterem muß wenigstens eine solche Menge zugegeben werden"daß bei der Umsetzung mit Wasser, wie sie bei -der inneren Anwendung stattfindet, alle Schwefelsäure des Aluminiumsalzes abgebunden wird. Von diesem mit kohlensaurem Kälk gut gemischten schwefelsauren Aluminium setzt man zweckmäßigerweise eine solche Menge zu, daß im fertigen Produkt die durch Wasser gebildete Tonende, als wasserfreies Aluminiumoxyd gerechnet, 5% nicht übersteigt. Man bekommt auf diese Weise Präparate, die gut lagerfähig sind und erst beim- Lösungsvorgang ihr volle Wirksamkeit entfalten. So konnte bei Gesundheitszusätzen, die, wie üblich, Kohle in aktiver Form als Adsorptionsmittel enthielten, eine wesentliche Verstärkung der Desinfektionswirkung dyrch die Gegenwart des zur Bildung von wasserreicher Tonerdegallerte führenden Gemisches beobachtet werden. Umfangreiche Versuche -des Tierärztlichen Instituts der Universität Bonn sowie die Erprobung des Mittels in der Praxis haben ergeben, daß der Durchfall der Kühe mit seinen unangenehmen Begleiterscheinungen innerhalb kurzer Zeit völlig beseitigt wird.
