Abstract

The tanker vehicle tank has a cylindrical casing (1) closed at each end and having an access hatch (2) at the top. The hatch has a cylindrical shaft (21) and a cover (22). The shaft extends into the tank from the top (11) at a level such that the upper surface of the cover defines a plane (A) parallel to and at a small distance from the top. The shaft is enclosed by a flank (24) opening at a point on the tank.
