Abstract

The fitting has a housing which incorporates a draining slope (5) along an opening (3) in the shower's tray. A drain cover (10) is positioned over the opening. The cover grips into an opening (18) in the draining slope, and is thus supported. The cover has a locking device (12) allowing it to connect to the stand pipe (14). There may be a connection (17), attached to the underside (19) of the cover, which seals the opening (18) of the draining slope (5). The locking device may be attached to the connection to hold the stand pipe in position. The underside of the draining slope may be a threaded connector (6) which is screwed into the drain housing (4).
