Abstract

The fitting has a housing which incorporates a draining slope (5) along an opening (3) in the shower's tray. A drain cover (10) is positioned over the opening. The cover grips into an opening (18) in the draining slope, and is thus supported. The cover has a locking device (12) allowing it to connect to the stand pipe (14). There may be a connection (17), attached to the underside (19) of the cover, which seals the opening (18) of the draining slope (5). The locking device may be attached to the connection to hold the stand pipe in position. The underside of the draining slope may be a threaded connector (6) which is screwed into the drain housing (4).

Ein an sich übliches Ablaufgehäuse 4 bildet einen Geruchverschluss mit einer Überlaufkante 20 und ist an einem Ende 21 an eine hier nicht gezeigte Ablaufleitung anzuschliessen. Das Gehäuse 4 ist mit einem Ablauftrichter 5 in einer Öffnung 3 einer hier nur andeutungsweise dargestellten Duschwanne 2 befestigt. Ein Dichtungsring 7 ist zwischen einem Kragen 4a des Gehäuses 4 und der Unterseite der Duschwanne 2 festgeklemmt. An der Unterseite des Ablauftrichters 5 ist ein Gewindestutzen 6 angeformt, der in ein Innengewinde 4b des Gehäuses 4 eingeschraubt ist. Zur Abdeckung der Öffnung 18 des Ablauftrichters 5 ist auf diesem abnehmbar ein Deckel 10 aufgesetzt. Dieser ist trittfest mit radial verlaufenden Stegen 12 oben am Ablauftrichter 5 abgestützt und besitzt Durchtrittsöffnungen 11 , durch die Wasser von der Duschwanne 2 in das Gehäuse 4 ablaufen kann. Ein unterseitig am Deckel 10 angeformter zylindrischer Stutzen 17 durchgreift einen inneren Ansatz 9, in dem eine Dichtung 8 eingelegt ist. Die Dichtung 8 gewährleistet, dass das Standrohr mit dem Deckel 10 in jeder Auszugsstellung gehalten ist. Soll das Wasser vollständig ablaufen, so wird der Deckel 10 mit dem Standrohr 14 wieder in die in Fig. 2 gezeigte Stellung zurückgeschoben. Ein beschädigtes Standrohr 14 kann ohne weiteres durch ein neues ersetzt werden.
