Abstract

The invention relates to a sectional door, consisting of a hinge receiving groove (3), which is formed on the interior face (I) of the door by adjacent sectional panels and receives the strap hinge in its entirety (2). The hinge receiving groove (3) is equipped with at least one step (3A) running approximately parallel to said groove, into which the fixing screws (8B) of the first strap hinge tab (2B) can be screwed and which forms a first receiving area (3C) at the base of the groove for housing at least one section of the articulation region (2A) of the strap hinge (2) and a second receiving area (3B) on the exterior of the groove for housing said first strap hinge tab (2B). The hinge receiving grooves (3) form a third receiving area (3D) in their groove border zone, which lies opposite the step (3A), said area housing the second strap hinge tab (2C). The fixing screws (8C) of the second strap hinge tab (2C) can be screwed into the groove wall (3E) of the third receiving area (3D).
