Abstract

The cleaning device (200) has a pair of press rollers (10) or a pair of transportation rollers (20) and a roll drive (22). The device possesses a cleaning cloth (18) for cleaning the rollers. A feeding arrangement (7) is provided between one of the pair of rollers in a sheet transportation level (E), where the cleaning is caused by a relative motion between firm cleaning cloth and moving rollers. An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning the rollers of a device for pressing or transporting sheet from paper and paperboard.
