Das vorliegende Flaschenkorkblech bezweckt eine leichte und billige Herstellung eines vollkommen luftdichten Verschlusses für verkorkte Flaschen, namentlich für solche mit moussirenden Getränken. Bei Benutzung dieser Bleche wird es ferner nicht mehr nöthig sein, die Korke vor dem Gebrauch in fettartigen Substanzen zu sieden, um sie luftdicht zu machen. Ein Ausschwitzen und Schimmeln solcher Imprägnirungen findet also nicht statt.
