Im Hauptpatent 427895 ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines hydraulischen Tonerde-Kalkstein-Bindemittels beschrieben, welche. darin besteht, daß man ein Gemisch von Bauxit und Kalkstein oder Bauxit und Kalk bei einer Temperatur, welche wesentlich niedriger als sein Erw eichungspunkt, z. B. 9oo bis iooo° C, ist, während einer längeren Zeit z. B. 9 bis 12 Stunden, erhitzt. Man erhält unter diesen Bedingungen eine gebrannte Masse, welche nach dem Zermahlen einen Zement ergibt, der dieselben bemerkenswerten Hydraulischen Eigenschaften besitzt wie die durch Schmelzen erhaltenen bekanntest Tonerdezemente. Es hat sich nun herausgestellt, daß man nach diesem Verfahren weiße Tonerdezemente herstellen kann, welche sich vorteilhaft zum Verputzen von Fassade-,1 und zur Herstellung von Formstücken eignen.Process for the production of uncoloured alumina-limestone cements.
