Die Versilberung, Vernickelung oder Vergoldung von Gegenständen aus Leichtmetallen oder Leichtmetallegierungen auf galvanischern Wege trifft bekanntlich auf die Schwierigkeit, daß solche Gegenstände ihrer Natur nach nicht geeignet sind, als Elektroden für den galvanischen Prozeß zu dienen. Es ist nun zwar bekannt, die galvanische Behandlung dadurch zu ermöglichen, daß die dieser zu unterwerfenden Gegenstände vorher mit einem aufgespritzten Mietall versehen «-erden. das sie befähigt, als Elektroden verwendet zu werden. Eine derartige Vorbehandlung erfüllt aber nur dann ihren Zweck, wenn der Überzug des Zwischenmetalles sehr sorgfältig und dicht hergestellt wird, was naturgemäß mit verhältnismäßig hohen Kosten verbunden ist.
