Description
Verfahren zur Erzeugung galvanischer Überzüge auf Bletallegierungen. Seit Jahren ist es ein die ganze Leichtmetalle verarbeitende Industrie beschäftigendes Problem, zum Zwecke der Vernickelung, Versilberung, Vergoldung o. dgl. bestimmte galvanische Überzüge auf solchen Metallegierungen herzustellen, die, wenn sie unmittelbar als Elektroden fürgalvanische Verfahren verwendet würden, sich bis zu einem gewissen Grade selbst zerstören. Solche Metallegierungen sind z. B. Leichtmetallegierungen, insbesondere des Magnesiums, wie sie unter dem Namen »Elektron« im Handel befindlich sind. Es ist ausgeschlossen, Elektron unmittelbar auf galvanischem Wege z. B. zu vernickeln. Aber auch alle sonstigen Versuche zur Herstellung .einer Vernickelung, Versilberung usw. sind vollkommen gescheitert.Process for the production of galvanic coatings on metal alloys. B. Polieren oder sonstiger; die Dichte verbessernden Behandlung, die Legierung fähig macht, unmittelbar als Elektrode für den galvanischen Prozeß verwendet zu werden. Für die Vernickelung würde im allgemeinen ein entsprechend starker und dichter, durch Spritzen hergestellter Überzug aus Kupfer zweckmäßig sein. Dieser Überzug schützt die Legierung vollkommen gegen eine Zersetzung oder Zerstörung und gestattet, daraus hergestellte Gegenstände genau so auf galvanischem Wege zu vernickeln wie einen ganz aus Kupfer hergestellten Gegenstand.The invention itself solves this problem for the first time in that on the z.
