Abstract

Assembly for the removal of filter cake from a continuously rotating filter such as used in the mechanical removal of water from flotation sludge by means of a scraper located on the filter drum. The novelty is that the scraper is made of one or more pieces of wire rotating around the axis parallel to the filter at equal or unequal distances from the axis; and that the filter and the scraper turn in the same direction. - The arrangement incorporates a rotating filter, a filter vat, a filter axis, filter cake, filter cloth, a first and second scraper, and axle and wire. Pref. a conventional scraper is fitted under the wire scraper to guide the departing filter cake.

Description

The invention relates to a device for acceptance from filter cake to continuously operated rotary filter, for example for mechanical drainage of flotation sludge using an above the Filter trough arranged scraper.

As for example from Glückauf No. 116, 1980, page 1006 to 1012 can be seen as known exist the known devices for removing filter ku chen from knife-like scrapers made of metal or Plastic, the tip of which separates the filter chens from the filter cloth to close to the filter cloth reaches.

They are usually on above the filter trough arranged scraper in their position orderly.

The disadvantage of the conventional device for Ab Filter cake essentially consists in the high wear on the upper scraper edge and the  related decrease with increasing duration of use cake drop rate. Another essential Licher disadvantage of the conventional arrangement or before Direction in the risk of material damage to the filter cloth if the scraper is too tight against the fil see cloth.

There are very special difficulties with Verwen of such scrapers in the case of thin filter cakes. There when the scraper or the tip of the Scraper a narrow slit on the filter cloth is a special prob lematics. The fil not stripped from the filter cloth Cake cake presses itself through the scraper inside of the slit into the filter cloth and reduced when sucking in the solid within the suspensions sion or within the filter trough to the off bring important formation of the filter cake.

In contrast, the object of the invention grunde, a device for removing filter cakes on continuously operated rotary filters, for example for mechanical dewatering of flotations to create sludges that are simple and cost cheap, as well as in particular thin filter cake represents unproblematic device, and beyond avoiding interference and lap filter cloth an improvement in the application of solids from suspensions.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by that the scraper as at least one parallel to the Filter formed around an axis rotating wire is.

Such a pre-tensioned wire, which is about a Mit telpunkt or around an axis at a freely selectable distance r can rotate with the frequency is in one adjustable distance in front of the filter cloth.

It proves to be within the scope of the invention particularly advantageous that under a corresponding Distance to a central axis several or a lot number of wires is foreseeable, which is a rotating Form wipers. The rotating wire or wires engage in a more or less small circular path into the filter cake and destroy it with their be the filter cake so far that it is in full rotation start crumbling off the filter cloth. To manage the crumbling or stripped filter cake proves it is useful, for example a wipe fer conventional way to guide.

Furthermore, it is conceivable that the wire or wires not at an equal distance from the central axis these rotate, but that the wires, for example take an elliptical path. In addition, he it seems easy to imagine, possibly in different distances from the filter cloth attach several such scrapers to the fil completely separate the cake from the filter cloth, around this for the corresponding recording in the filter trough to clear.

An embodiment of the invention is in the Drawings are shown and will be described in more detail below explained.
