Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine Maschine zum Überholen des Oberleders um den Leisten mit einer an der Schuhspitze wirkenden, unbeweglich befestigten Zange und zwei abwärts beweglichen, seitlich am Werkstück angreifenden beweglichen Zangen. Gemäß der neuen Anordnung werden sämtliche Zangen durch einen gemeinsamen Tritthebel geschlossen, jedoch kann dieser bei seiner weiteren Abwärtsbewegung nur die beweglich geführten Seitenzangen mitnehmen, während die Schließvorrichtung der vorderen Zange an dieser entlang gleitet, jedoch keine Bewegung dieser Zange verandaßt.
