Abstract

It is known to scrub out SO2 from the dirty gas stream downstream of fossil-fuelled combustion plants by means of an aqueous solution which is enriched with lime. The aim is to free from gaseous pollutants the dirty gas loaded with SO2 and NOx and other acidic constituents and to achieve gypsum as an end product. In order to create a waste water-free process of the abovementioned type, according to the invention it is proposed that the scrubbing water which is used for gypsum scrubbing is collected and fed to a spraying and quenching absorber stage upstream of the flue gas desulphurisation scrubbing plant. The gypsum is scrubbed in a centrifuge or vacuum filter in such a way that it complies with the specification of low chloride-containing constituents. In the spraying and quench absorber stage, the flue gas at an acidic pH is brought down from for example 140 DEG to 100 DEG C, the chloride-containing gases, by means of the wash water from the gypsum scrubbing station, already also enriched with chloride, serving for scrubbing out the chloride-containing constituents in the gas with simultaneous flue gas cooling.

Description

It is known that gypsum with only low calcium Traces can be marketed.

On the other hand, it is also known that chloride z. B. in Mining can be used as a dust binder.

In order to obtain a wastewater-free process, proposed according to the invention, the plaster in the Centrifuge or wash on a vacuum filter so that he has the specification of low chloride Components met, and this wash water one of the Flue gas desulfurization system upstream spray dryer Quencher stage is fed in with an acidic pH the flue gas of z. B. 140 ° C. 100 ° C is depressed, while the  gases containing chloride due to that already with chloride enriched rinsing water from the gypsum washing station for Leaching out of the chloride-containing components in the gas serve with simultaneous flue gas cooling.

mit (2) der Rauchgaswäscher;
mit (3) ein Trommelvakuumfilter mit Gipswaschstation;

mit (5) die anfallenden Salze unterhalb vom Sprüh- und Quenchabsorber;
mit (6) der ausgetragene, gewaschene Rohgips.
The process is shown in the accompanying drawing:
with ( 1 ) the upstream chloride spray tower;
with ( 2 ) the flue gas scrubber;
with ( 3 ) a drum vacuum filter with gypsum washing station;
with ( 4 ) the return of the gypsum wash water into the spray and quench absorber ( 1 );
