Fig. ι stellt den Zeitungshalter in Oberansicht, und zwar geschlossen mit zwischengelegten Zeitungen bezw. Journalen dar. Fig. 2 ist die Seitenansicht, Fig. 3 eine Oberansicht. Fig. 4 und 5 sind Schnitte nach A-B der Fig. 1, und zwar ist Fig. 4 in geschlossenem Zustande und Fig. 5 in geöffnetem Zustande gedacht. Die Zeitung wird auf die Stifte α α α α der Leiste b geheftet, alsdann die Leiste c darauf gelegt und beide Leisten um ihre in Schlitzen geführten Zapfen d d so gedreht, dafs dieselben in die durch Fig. 1 in Oberansicht und Fig. 4 im Schnitt nach A-B derselben dargestellte Lage kommen. Die Federn ff drücken alsdann die beiden Leisten b und c mit der Zeitung gegen den Rahmen r, so dafs eine an der Leiste c angebrachte Nase η in denselben greift und ein Drehen verhindert. Durch die Führung der Zapfen d d in Schlitzen ist es möglich, eine starke Lage von Zeitungen in den Halter zu legen und zwei Deckel k k einzuspannen, welche beim Lesen der Zeitung zur Auflage und beim Nichtgebrauch als Schutzdeckel dienen.Fig. Ι represents the newspaper holder in top view, namely closed with interposed newspapers respectively. Patent claim:

At the under No. 28773 patented newspaper holder a modification consisting in the fact that the two strips b and c holding the newspaper are flexibly mounted by means of their pivot pins dd in a frame r arranged on the handle and are influenced by the leaf springs ff.
