Description

  • "HUftgelenkpfannen-Prothese"
  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Hüftgelenkpfannen-Prothese für linksseitige Hüftgelenke mit einer Gelenkpfanne, die an ihrem Umfang mit einem Gewinde zur Verankerung der Prothese im Beckenknochen versehen ist.
  • Hüftgelenkpfannen-Prothesen der vorstehenden Art werden ausschließlich mit Rechtsgewinde geliefert, und zwar unabhängig davon, ob sie für das rechts- oder linksseitige Hüftgelenk bestimmt sind.
  • Es hat sich gezeigt, daß Hüftgelenkpfannen-Prothesen der in Betracht gezogenen Art dazu neigen, sich im Laufe der Zeit zu lockern. Beobachtungen der Anmelderin geben zu der Vermutung Anlaß, daß die Lockerungserscheinungen mit den unterschiedlichen Belastungen der Prothese beim Vorwärts- und Rückwärtsbewegen des Beines zusammenhängen. Allem Anschein nach erscheint die Annahme gerechtfertigt, daß die Gefahr eines Lockerwerdens der Prothese besonders groß ist, wenn in ein linksseitiges Hüftgelenk eine Prothese mit Rechtsgewinde eingesetzt wird.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Dauerhaftigkeit des festen Sitzes einer Hüftgelenkpfannen-Prothese für linksseitige Hüftgelenke zu verbessern. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß das zur Verankerung der Prothese im Beckenknochen dienende Gewinde als Linksgewinde ausgebildet ist.
  • Die erfindungsgemässe Hüftgelenkpfannen-Prothese bietet den Vorteil, daß die beim Zurückbewegen des Beines in die Hüftgelenkpfannen-Prothese eingeleiteten Reibungsmomente, welche die Reibungsmomente bei der Vorwärtsbewegung des Beines übersteigen, nicht im Sinne einer Lockerung sondern im Sinne eines sich Festziehens der Prothese auf diese einwirken.
  • Es versteht sich, daß für rechtsseitige Hüftgelenke auch in Zukunft Hüftgelenkpfannen-Prothesen mit Rechtsgewinde verwendet werden sollten.
  • Das Gewinde der Prothese kann in bekannter Weise mehrgängig und/oder als Schneidgewinde ausgebildet sein.
  • Die Erfindung wird im folgenden anhand eines in der beigefügte Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispieles näher erläutert. Es zeigen: Fig. 1 die Seitenansicht einer Hüftgelenkpfanne und Fig. 2 einen Schnitt durch die Pfanne gemäß Fig. 1.
  • In den Figuren ist eine HUftgelentpSanne dargestellt, die aus einem Kunststoffinnenteil 1 und einem metallischen Schneidring 2 besteht. Der Schneidring 2 trägt außen ein Gewinde 3, dessen Gänge durch Schneidnuten 4 unterteilt sind. Das Gewinde 3 ist als mehrgängiges Linksgewinde ausgebildet.

  1. Ansprüche : 1. Hüftgelenkpfannen-Prothese für linksseitige Hüftgelenke #mit einer Gelenkpfanne, die an ihrem Umfang mit einem Gewinde zur Verankerung der Prothese im Beckeriknochen versehen ist, dadurch g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß das Gewinde (3) als Linksgewinde ausgebildet ist.
  2. 2. Prothese nach Anspruch 1, dadurch g e k e n n z e i c h -n e t , daß das Gewinde (3) mehrgängig ausgebildet ist.
  3. 3. Prothese nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch g e k e n n -z e i c h n e t , daß das Gewinde (3) als Schneidgewinde ausgebildet ist.
