Die Neuheit dieser Besaitungsart besteht darin, dafs nicht alle Saiten, wie bei den bisherigen Zithern, neben einander, sondern die Begleitungs-, d. h. die aufserhalb des Griffbrettes befindlichen Saiten, in zwei Reihen über einander zu liegen kommen, und dafs die der unteren Reihe mittelst kleiner Tasten angespielt werden, welche aus einem eigenen, in den Zitherdeckel eingelassenen Spiel werke hervorragen.The novelty of this type of stringing is that not all strings, as with the previous zithers, next to each other, but the accompanying, d.
