Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf solche Kuppelköpfe für Kupplungen der Luftdruckbremsleitungen, welche eine Abschlußvorrichtung enthalten. Es sind nun derartige Kuppelköpfe bekannt, bei denen die darin befind-.. liehen Ventile mittels bestimmter Ansätze beim Kuppeln und Entkuppeln in die gewünschte Stellung bewegt werden. Diese Köpfe haben aber den Nachteil, daß beim Kuppeln eines ίο solchen mit einem Kopf ohne Abschluß vorrichtung das Ventil nicht in die richtige Stellung gebracht werden kann. Diesen Ubelstand vermeidet der Erfindungsgegenstand so, daß der Hahn nicht nur durch einen Kupplungskopf mit gleicher Einrichtung, sondern durch jeden anderen bekannten Kupplungskopf gestellt werden kann. Trotzdem bleibt der Hahn bei gewaltsamer Zugtrennung offen, ohne die Bestandteile der Bremsleitung zu beschädigen. Gleichzeitig erfolgt das Ein- und Auskuppeln des Kupplungskopfes ohne Kraftanstrengung, weil der Hahn entlastet ist.The present invention relates to such coupling heads for couplings of the air pressure brake lines, which contain a termination device.
